I have been brought to tears by the sheer care, affection and understanding this clinic has shown. Their knowledge and care for rats was outstanding and I will be coming here for the rest of my days. Additionally, they were absolutely fine ensuring that your payment on things never exceeded too far outside your comfort and finances (which I believe is incredibly rare).
This is the only vet you should take a rodent to in the city of Toronto. They are the best.
We highly recommend Dr. Sam Munn and the staff @ Greenwood Park Animal Hospital -- they are the best! They are obviously all animal lovers. We loved the environment, and their reasonable and caring approach. We had taken our cat first to Kingston Road Animal Hospital because she had a slight sneeze and had gone somewhat off food/water/litter for a couple of days. Kingston Road diagnosed a heart murmur, fluid wave in her stomach, severe distention, and estimated over $1,500 to determine what potentially serious issue she may have -- bloodwork, xrays, cytology-fluid aspirate, IV... The next day we took her for a second opinion to Dr. Sam Munn @ Greenwood Park Animal Hospital. He gave her the same examination -- healthy heart (no murmur) and lungs, healthy cat. Just gave us the option to do some geriatric bloodwork (not necessary, but our choice) to see if there was anything brewing that we should be aware of as she ages. We proceeded with the bloodwork, and the total bill including the examination was $265. We loved the rapport that Dr. Munn builds with both his pet patients and their owners. He instilled confidence through both the assessment, and his reasonable approach to next steps. We have no hesitation providing the highest recommendation to Dr. Sam Munn and Greenwood Park Animal Hospital.
We've been taking our pets (2 cats and 1 dog) to the clinic for a short while, and really like both Dr. Sam, and Dr. Marcus. Both are very good, patient, and caring. Our dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes and Marcus has been there helping us with medications, food and diet. We moved to this clinic because it's close to our home, but also because it's small and independently owned, and the staff clearly care. I also know they specialize in small pets (bunny, hamster), and birds, but I have no personal experience with that.
Dr Munn is exactly what you want from a vet. Caring Patient and genuinely loves animals.
