I don't know what to think my vet told me to go there for an ultrasound on my dog. He told me that the ultrasound & consultation would run around $1500. after his ultrasound they found a piece of string or thread tied around his intestine and was cutting through it & suggested $8000 for a 50-50 chance of survival surgery which I was unable to pay for and was unwilling to go into major debt for the Toronto Humane Society took on the cost but I had to surrender my dog so he at least had a chance to survive. But he was no longer my dog. Needless to say Buster did not do well & they had to euthanize him because they could not keep his blood pressure up unless they or I paid another $10000. I am glad Buster is no longer suffering but could they have done more for less? RIP Buster we love you

We had used the services here 5 times in 17 months for our furry kid Mika. The first experience was a good one but they all seemed to go down hill after that. They want you to love your pet just like any other family member so you will be willing to hand over your money without question. We did just that but after 3 failed knee surgeries (same knee) we were treated very poorly.The doctor did not return my calls and when I did finally get a hold of him he assured me that everything was good and that he was very busy so the people he delegated responsibilities to were the ones who let us down. The final straw was October 24th when we took Mika for a second opinion, after running some tests on her he called to say that the kindest thing we could do for her was to let her go. We rushed to be with her where we decided to let her go. The same doctor who operated 5 times on her was too busy to speak with us that day and the next day and until this very day. We have never received a call or a card from this clinic. If they know you love your pet like family then they should at least find the time to call or send a card. Imagine if you lost a human child and the doctor couldn't find 5 minutes to comfort you.

The WORST vet hospital. If you trully care about your pet please do not go to this place all they care about it the money. Our dog nearly passed away due do their negligence. We even asked if they can keep our dog in their hospitcal over weekend until he was able to get the proper tests done (yes their ultra sound dep does not work all the time) this meant that we had to wait 3 days since it was the weekend and a stat holiday on Monday. They gave us the worst news stating he will only live a partial life if he is on medication for the rest of his life...without telling us what really was wrong with him. They charged us over $2,000 dollars for 3 visits...and at the end we found a much better hospital that took our dog in and was able to help him (he is now perfectly fine) Please DO NOT go to this hospital...it's a money grabbing hospital and they know they know they can get away with it.

My experience with this hospital was of compassion, care, and empathy towards our 11-1/2 year old dog who went in as an emergency. They updated us constantly and everything done was explained in full detail. I wouldn't hesitate to take my "boy" there again. THANKS EVERYONE at TVEH.

I felt so sad. My cat already passed away when I went home from work. She was sleeping on her bed as usual. I immediately sent her to this animal hospital. The doctor touched her pulse. Then, I was told she had died. For this touch, I need to pay for doctor's doing nothing fee, $103. It seems that misfortune comes twice on me, even more sadder in my heart.
