The main reason I was not impressed is because they would not see my dog who was shooting out blood from his bum until we opened an account. Why it's called EMERGENCY clinic beats me because not only were front staff rude they also didn't seem like they were in a rush to sign us in. They were first concerned that he didn't have a leash on as I brought him in his carrier. excuse me for rushing my dog to what I thought was an emergency hospital.I was not putting this string they gave me around my dogs neck while he's shooting out blood from his bum. after 15 min with vet using common scare tactics etc. she didn't even give him the meds until I paid the bill then she showed me how to give it too him. For 5 days of meds 4 cans of food he refuses to eat the bill was $217. Plz be careful of this place and don't by extra anything.
We have been to this clinic many times over the years, and have always found the staff to be compassionate and caring. It is an emergency facility, thus expensive, but you are getting the best care for your money. Dr. Mason, in particular, has been a life saver for more than one of our pets.
Quite happy with our experience. The vet we dealt with laid out all our options and did not pressure us. She even called us after we left with a bit more information on the pain meds we had for our dog. The care was great and the extra touches were so sweet!
I have used this vet for various emergencies with my dogs over the years. Yes, they are expensive but all emergency vets are. My last visit was when my dog was poisoned a few years back. After a misdiagnoses at another vet, I brought my dog here. I was impressed by the immediate care and loved the vet who treated her. He assured me he knew what was wrong, how to fix it and the outlook was good. He calmed me down in my very frantic state and didn't make me feel awful for calling 100x that night. My quote was for 950, however they actually REFUNDED 150 when I picked up my dog as they didn't need to due certain things. Ive never in my life had a vet do that. $850 is a small price to pay when your dog is poisoned and needs immediate help, and is worth it to go home knowing everything will be ok. I will never use any other emergency vet, totally recommend to anyone.
Absolutely terrible bedside manor and lack of professionalism. These people are absolutely heartless; we were given two options for our dog after being diagnosed with a uterus infection: 1) pay 3500 dollars OR 2) put her down When we asked about other options eg: taking her our vet in the morning or keeping her under observation until then we were told that she would likely die between 2:00 am and 10:00 am the next morning. Further follow up with our vet the next day, revealed that the surgery should have run between 700-900 dollars. 5X the price. ********DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF**************
