HORRIBLE and EXPENSIVE experience. Not worth coming here, my dog was very sick and the medication didn't work (at all) despite the hole in my wallet. Very disappointed.
Our dog wasn't well, he was vomiting after drinking water, wasn't eating and had diarrhea. We took him to the Animal Emergency Clinic of Etobicoke based on a referral from a family friend. The staff were very courteous. The veterinarians work on rotating shifts which had us a little worried at first, but they transitioned off their diagnosis and treatment to each other to ensure our dog was okay. He had to get drips and they explained what they believed the situation was which was confirmed by us(we had a relative who was living with us and when he left our dog became depressed) While some people say its expensive, I treat my dog as I would treat myself and not compromise on his health. Thank you to the staff for the great service and care for Russell!
very disappointed !!! first they look so nice ... than my bill was $600.because i was missing $100 could not take the medication of my dog . next day i go there with my credit card and they not accept because was before 6pm . 4 days after i have to do put bandage in my dog ,i call, they said:come ,everything is included ,i got there and they charge me $120 dollars . before you get there: get lots of money , because if you miss something ,forget about it !!! they are not flexible !!!! dont even bother to call : in the phone they say one thing ,there they say another !!!!
DO NOT GO HERE FOR AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY CARE. Our dog was put through hell for no reason. Unnecessary stomach surgery to "explore" for an object that he had swallowed. There was no sign of it on any of their X-rays, but they convinced us, under duress, to authorize the surgery. A much simpler endoscopic procedure (video camera sent down the throat), would have found that the object was still lodged in his throat and could have been removed quite easily. But no, rather than direct us to another clinic that HAD the endoscope, we were convinced to procede with invasive surgery. They then had the gall to threaten to take us to small claims court when we disputed the ridiculous charges. The object was eventually removed (at another vet) using the proper equipment, but not before the poor dog was put through hell. Unethical and money grubbing, I would strongly suggest you avoid this place for any emergency care.
A brand new 24 hour clinic in west end. The staff was very friendly, and they even took me on a tour! This is a great addition to our community of pet lovers.
