My first experience with Wellesley Animal Hospital was less than a week after I brought my new kitten home from the Humane Society. She had very bad digestive problems, and at only 9 weeks old, she was dehydrated and losing weight. My previous experience with various vets downtown had been terrible, so I really needed to find someone new. From the beginning, it was obvious that Dr. Ma and the staff at Wellesley would be my new permanent vet clinic. Not only did they get me in right away (which probably saved my kitten's life), they treated her like their very own cherished pet. Within a week of seeing Dr. Ma, she was in perfect health again, and she is now a very happy and healthy 2 1/2 yr old cat. Every subsequent visit has only re-enforced my high opinion of Wellesley Animal Hospital. The doctors and support staff are wonderful, their prices are reasonable, and they NEVER try to up-sell you on unnecessary tests or treatments. They are also the ONLY vet, in a life time of pet ownership, who actually calls or emails me with any test results, and where the vet personally phones me to follow up on my cat's condition. Even after moving out of the neighbourhood, I still take my cat exclusively to Wellesley Animal Hospital.

Dr. O'Neill and the healthcare team at the Wellesley Animal Hospital provided some of the best care I have ever received over the years of owning my pets. They were extremely informative. I have to recommend them to anyone in search of a vet. I walked out very happy knowing all my questions were answered to the fullest extent. Worth every penny.

I used to live downtown TO with my samoyed puppy Nina and Dr. Ma was amazing with her. Also at WAH they have an excellent groomer who did a great job with Nina's thick double coat. Navjit would go out of her way to help fit Nina in Dr. Ma or the groomer's schedule and is just the kindest person ever. I only wish they had a sister clinic in Calgary. Highly recommended!!

I have been taking my cats to WAH all of their lives for both routine and emergency care. The level of service at WAH is simply superb. Dr. Ma and her wonderful staff truly care about the health of your pets and go far out of their way to make sure that your pet receives the best possible care. WAH is not cheap, but the level of service they provide more than makes up for it. Also, their prices are on par for all of the clinics in the area - vets in downtown Toronto are expensive. After treatment, without fail I have received a follow up call from WAH to make sure our little kitty is recovering well. Anytime I have a question, I know I can walk into the clinic and get a response. If the staff out front doesn't know the answer, the vet or veterinary tech will call back pronto with a response. I simply cannot speak highly enough about this clinic and all of their staff. They are extremely professional and courteous and are textbook examples of 'professionals'. If only they accepted human patients...

Dr. Ma is the best. She always takes her time, and gets to know your pet. Her advice is really helpful, and she doesn't try to sell you things you don't need. For example, I took in my poodle, Mango, with a mysterious bald spot a few months ago. She ran a couple of tests that came up negative, and told me to just monitor the spot before running any more. She had me come in a couple of weeks later to see how it was, and didn't even charge me for the follow-up exam. But the most impressive was today, when Mango got into a bottle of advil. I rushed her to the vet, where Dr. Ma saw her right away. They flushed out her system and they have her on IV fluids now, and she's doing really well. They totally saved her life. The bill wasn't even that high, especially considering that it was an emergency visit and they're going to have to keep her overnight. I'd trust this vet with any pet.
