First, this place has AMAZING customer service! It's always to nice to walk into a clinic to find friendly smiles and hospitable service. I took my cat to Waterloo West Animal Hospital last week for her annual shots, which was a very smooth process. I didn't have to wait to get her in, and the vet was quick and informative. I also inquired as to what food is preferable to feed a slightly overweight cat, and the vet and staff were able to give me some healthy and affordable choices.

I've been taking my two cats here for almost a year and both vets have been great! My one cat has many health problems and every time i need to bring him in they see him very quickly and are flexible with payments.

I took my little Russian Hamster for tumor removal (mammary cancer). Dr. Mahboob is one of the few vets in Waterloo who specialize in pocket pets. He did an exceptional job removing all of the granulated tumor, considering her small size and the many nodules. She woke up from the anesthesia and went straight to running on her wheel! The surgery took a lot longer than expected so he gave me a discount; overall, the price was high and expected, not completely unreasonable, but his skill and expertise is appreciated. The RVT and staff were all friendly and caring. My little pet is more active and happier than she has been in months; she's doing great and recovering quickly.

Took our money, sold the practice, no bedside etiquette with new vets who recommended 2 follow on surgery procedures for our dogs knees. Spent thousands here, constant recommendation of new drugs, appointments and physio's just to get $$. Disliked the old vet, dislike the new ones as well. Don't take your pets here.
