After searching for years for a vet who could help us with our 9 year old dog with severe separation anxiety, Dr. Seymour was able to provide caring and expert help both medically and behaviorally. We spent years and hundreds of dollars trying to help Rags be a happier and healthier dog. Her behavior was so extreme we spent many hours at the Pet Emergency. We love her so much and putting her down has never been an option even though he behavior was extreme and were told by several doctors that she has the worst separation anxiety they have ever seen. We were even at the point of considering to re-home her just so she might have more room to run around and exert herself. We were that desperate to take care of our beloved dog. We read every book and tried just about everything we could learn. It wasn't until we found Dr Seymour that our lives changed. She found the right medication for her and gave us a few tips on behavior.;..for both the dog and the family! Rags is a totally different dog who is much happier! We are thrilled with the support we receive from Dr. Seymour and the staff at VCA. I look forward to many years of continued relationships.

Dr. Seymour has been caring for my two senior cats for the last three years. She has just been so understanding and caring with them. One recently developed allergies and she spent lots of time and effort to try and figure out if it was allergies or something else. She contacts me once a week to see how Kira is doing. I would recommend Dr. Seymour to anyone.

I'm not sure about the other reviewer but it is impossible to continuously disinfect a back yard unless you want to set it on fire multiple times....I am a biologist. Anyway the doctors and staff took great care of my cats after moving up here from Phoenix. They answered all of my questions and even got a personal number to call if anything went wrong after a treatment. Highly recommended!

Could not have hoped for a better experience. Both staff and doctor were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were so grateful to have such an informed reptile specialist here in Alaska. Dr. Frederickson took the time to listen to all our questions and concerns and did a very thorough exam. We would strongly recommend her to anyone we know.

I called to schedule an appointment at 6:30pm and the VCA (lake otis & turdor rd. anchorage, AK) does not close until 8pm today and they told me that "I would be charged for an emergency after hours appointment today". Rip OFF it's during your normal business hours. They had horrible customer service over the phone this is not a location that I will bring my pets to again. This service is not what you want when your pet are in need of CARE!
