Dr. Kerins is absolutely amazing. He has been working with us to keep our geriatric cats alive for about two years. Shortly after he bought the clinic, our older cat was very ill and we didn't think she could survive. With good care and follow-ups, she is still going and is happy and sassy as ever. The entire clinic is friendly and they make every effort to help you when your animal isn't well. If the animal is too sick to survive, the end of life care is exceptional. I was devastated that my other older cat was growing weaker and weaker due to several medical issues and we all decided that there was nothing else to do. They helped us get through a very hard time with a difficult decision, but we know that it had to be done. I would recommend Dr. Kerins and his staff to anybody who has animals. He is well informed, friendly and we are happy he is here to help us with the care of our animals.

My family has been using Dr. Kerins for over 12 years now. We really enjoy and appreciate his care and concern for our pets. We think so much of Dr. Kerins that we drive over 30 miles to his office in Alabaster at Alabaster Animal Clinic.Highly recommend them .......

Alabaster Animal Clinic is a great veterinary clinic. Dr. Dan is very knowledgeable in his field,, has a great bedside manner, courteous staff and actually cares about the animals he treats. I credit him with keeping two of my geriatric cats alive and ticking.

Dr. Dan has to be the rudest Veterinarian I have ever met. After my first encounter with him I decided to leave and take my pup elsewhere. The only reason I'm giving this place a star is the receptionist was very nice and friendly.

Dr. Duren is the most kind and loving animal advocate I have ever met. He is compassionate and understanding. I have only the highest of admiration for this clinic and his staff. I also believe that SouthernHiker has this clinic confused with the other clinic in Alabaster. Shelby Animal Clinic.
