I adopted a new kitten from the pound 4 weeks ago. She was beautiful and completly healthy. I took her to Apollo today to be spayed. She was a happy little kitten when I dropped her off. The vet called me at 11:30 am to tell me my kitten was dead! I couldn't believe it! She was perfectly happy this morning. He said he does not know what happened. She died after her procedure. Her heart stopped. Then he tells me that he is pretty sure the pound will replace her for me. :( I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She is not an item to be replaced. I fell in love with that kitten!!! Stay away from this vet! I only went to Apollo Animal Hospital because the pound set the appointment when we adopted our kitten. I'm so heartbroken. UPDATE: I just picked up my kitten so I can bury her. The vet shuts me in a room and tells me he didn't appreciate my review. Really!!! How about the fact that I don't appreciate the things you said about my kitten being replaced or that she is now dead! I don't care that he doesn't like my review. I didn't like his service or attitude. That's what reviews are for. Good or bad.

Always great service, reasonably priced. Been going there for years.
