I have been using them for years and do feel they care about my animals. They have sat and cried with me and held my hand through the painful process of putting them to sleep. I have always had shelter animals and they usually do more tests for discounted prices when they know they are being adopted and their medical history is unknown. I was given many options when my Pomeranian started having seizures. We tried vitamins and diet for a while not wanting to go to harsh medication until necessary. They gave me the signs to look for, so we knew when medication became necessary. When the time came for medication, they worked with me to do tests after to make sure she was OK after being on medication. They took the time to explain the test results and answered all of my questions. My Pom passed away recently (she had many medical issues going on at once) and they were extremely respectful when I brought her in. I have always been a sucker for the animals in need at the shelters, but I don't think I could have handled those situations without the help and care I have received from Governor's Choice. I have felt knowledgeable about what to expect from each puppy I have brought to them. I have a new, probably more extreme case right now and I know they will do everything they can to help our new shelter dog as much as possible and make sure I know what I am doing when I bring him home.
I originally took my sisters dog there because they charged the least for a rabies vaccine. They impressed me on my first visit with their friendliness and speed. I have since taken one of my dogs in who was suffering from an anaphylactic reaction and was impressed with the way I was treated and charged. I have since taken my rescue animals there and the staff in the back is great. I am not thrilled with one of their front desk people. She has mixed up charts, called me and then when I called back had no idea why I was calling or who called me from there- then realized it was her that had called. I have 2 distinctly different colored dogs and their pictures are mixed up on their charts. Other than her= they are awesome.
They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen.
Thank you guys so much for spaying my cat, Libra, and Midnight the feral cat! Libra loves her new toys and she says thank you! Very knowledgeable staff and wonderful people doing great things!
