We've taken our dog and our cat to Dr. Racelis at Best Friends since we moved to the area in 2007. We trust this facility implicitly. My dog is quite elderly, and they are so careful and attentive with him. When we've had health and behavioral issues in the past, the staff works to try to make everyone feel better, and they are very accommodating when I have questions. Dr. Racelis tries to educate us about what we can do to keep our pets healthy. I really appreciate the friendly staff, from the moment I walk in to the time we leave. Grateful to have a good option here in Madison.

Over the years (25+) we have been to most of the local vets for one reason or another. Pricing varies by doc and pretty much all of them are decent. Having said that, no other place holds a candle to Best Friends - from the front desk staff to the techs to the doctor himself, these are some of the nicest, most decent people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They care about your pet, they treat them with respect and consideration, and the doctor can always be counted on to come out and chat for a spell. Try them and you wont regret it!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Racelis and the staff at Best Friends Animal Hospital. Like some of the others here we have seen numerous vets in the area and they are simply no competition for Best Friends. We moved our two dogs here after a bad experience at another local Madison vet and we were very happy with the office staff and the vet that saw our dog on his first visit.
