Took our cat to get de-clawed and he came back infested with fleas. They wouldn't take any responsibility for it, even though our cats are 100% indoors and never had fleas before. Our entire home became infested and we spent the entire fall and winter battling the fleas. Thanks Shamblin!

Superior vet! I loved everything about my experience with Shamblin Vet Clinic. The personnel at the front desk was very courteous, both on the phone when handing a transfer of pet records, and when filling out my cat's new patient information. My cat was seen very quickly by the Dr. Shamblin (probably the shortest time I've ever waited at a vet's office to be seen). The Dr. also took the time to have a conversation with me, which is not typical of vets in my experience. The pricing for services is very reasonable too. I can say with certainty that Dr. Shamblin will be my vet for as long as I live in the Tuscaloosa area.

The quality of facilities was okay, but not worth the customer service I received. I came to pick up my dog after boarding her and arriving 5 minutes PRIOR to the clinics closing time, I was charged a $20 inconvenience fee for a late pick-up (not to mention the attitude of the front desk attendant). I could have let me dog stay another night had I known that I would be charged a fee (it would have been cheaper!!!) I was never informed of a late pick-up fee when I called the clinic earlier in the day to tell them I would be running close to the closing time due to a delayed flight. Anyway, the main point here is to beware of the extra fees at this clinic. There are also many other charges that will be incurred that they don’t inform you of up front or ask you about with pet medications…
