By chance I found Thornton Animal Hospital after moving to town. Our golden retriever needed her yearly shots and spaying and after calling around, they seemed to have the fairest prices and most up-front attitude of any place I called. I can’t say enough nice things about this hospital. It is so nice to finally find a place we feel that won't take advantage of us and when you walk in the door, everyone is so friendly and helpful. These doctors really care and go the extra mile. The staff seems to, too. Dr. Moore always talks to us in a way that we can understand, without talking down to us or talking above us either. He explains things better than any vet we have ever been to and I feel like I actually know what is going on with our pets when we leave there. Just a personal story, one day as I waited for my appointment, the door to the exam room opened and an owner was visibly upset over having to put his dog to sleep. I looked and Dr. Moore had his arm around this man’s back and was visibly upset himself. They just don’t come any nicer, honest or caring than these folks! I highly recommend this place!
