Took my dog there. I had an appointment at 4:00, didn't see the doctor until nearly 5. The doctor was friendly and answered my questions, but everything seemed rushed.

I take both my rabbits and my cat here and have never been disappointed. My cat is older and has chronic bladder stones/crystals, IBS, and OCD. Her previous owner died and we had none of her medical records available so Dr. Smith and team had to start from scratch to sort out her issues. She was having constant health problems and visiting them sometimes once a week at some points. Dr. Smith and Jonathon (vet tech) were always patient, listened to our concerns, and went the extra mile when caring for her and diagnosing her. Now all of her conditions are under control and she's taking the proper prescriptions. My rabbits have both been in for check-ups and one had to go in when she experienced a bout of GI Stasis and they were very careful when treating her and did thorough research for any additional home treatment she'd need after we left the office. Dr. Smith is the seriously the nicest veterinarian I have ever met, and has a great attitude whether interacting with people or pets. He's incredibly knowledgable and is even skilled in some exotic areas, like rabbits. Jonathon, my favorite vet tech, is also very educated and really cares for your animals. Vickie and Joyce at the front desk are the best and always friendly. When you truly love your pet, you know that sometimes their care can be costly and that's just part of being a responsible pet owner. Here, you know you will always get stellar service, never be charged for unnecessary things, and will always be treated well. Best vet in T-Town!

My 2 cats were treated first last summer for flea bite allergy skin problems. Two brutal summers battling this problem with little help from vets we saw. I met Jonathan, Vet Tech at Emergivet and was so impressed with his manner that when I found out he also works full time for Dr. Phillip Smith I made a follow up appointment for both cats to be seen. They changed their topical flea Rx, gave them combination cocktail injections and within a week problems resolved and stayed resolved all summer. Before we could get our 12 yr old standard dachshund in for a geriatric evaluation as planned, he had to be seen following a first time acute pancreatitis episode that came on when we were traveling. His treatment by Dr.Smith and staff was thorough, compassionate, and confidence inspiring to anxious owners with a very ill dog. We are happy to have found him and everyone who works there to deliver the vet care we expected but had been unable to find.
