Great veterinary practice! My family has been using May Vet for over 30 years. All the doctors and staff really seem to care. Top notch facilities- modern and very clean. Prices and fees are extremely reasonable and really very surprised that anyone would make a review claiming the Mays to be "money hungry". I would, without hesitation, recommend all the May Veterinary locations!
I have never had a bad experience with May Veterinary! Love the staff here. They are always so helpful & my dog loves everyone he comes in contact with. I have an English Bulldog & we are frequent vet visitors due to his allergies. I am very particular about the care of my fur baby & May does an excellent job. George drags me into the building when we get there. I have NEVER had a dog that was excited to go to the vet. If George is happy, then I am happy. I would recommend May Veterinary to anyone!!
just one word: awful! money hungry people is an accurate word, run by amateurs!
My mother took my dog here to get spayed. They did not give her any antibiotics, pain medicine, or a cone to stop her from licking the stitches, which is ridiculous considering that spaying surgery involved REMOVING AN ORGAN. I bought her a cone from a pet store, but after 2 days her stitches ended up falling out, without her touching it. May veterinary hospital charged me $50 to replace her stitches, even though it was their sloppy work that caused the problems. I would not wish this experience on anyone, so please do not take your beloved pet to this vet.
Non informative and money hungry! I have taken all my animals here for quite some time never giving it a second thought until a friend of mine informed me of what they were paying for the same services. May puts a $15 dollar mark up on trifexis and thats just for starters. The flat out lack of information is just beyond me, the doctor took one look at my dog, proscribed some meds, and that was it. No explanation of why they prescribed these meds or what exactly was causing the problem. After we finished the cycle of medications, the symptoms were still there and my dog still had no relief. We called back to inquire what to do next, and they informed us that we had to bring him back for ANOTHER examination at FULL COST. Also that the doctor hadn't actually seen our dog at the last visit. So who did? My recommendation is to do some research before choosing your vet I wish I had!
