Dr. McDowell is amazing. Very friendly! Has always been on time, courteous, and professional. Won't "over treat" or use expensive medicine / procedures, if something less costly will work just as well. I love that. Very down to earth!! Unlike a lot of vets in this area. Prices are VERY reasonable, and the quality of work is still there. Highly recommended!

I read the other review - this could not be right. Dr. McDowell is never late when I go in. And everytime I have had a dog spayed - you drop them off in the morning and pick them up in the evening. How can he be an hour late for that appointment if you just drop them off? I have had all my animals spayed there and other surgeries done too. I have not ever had a problem. He is very cost effective too - you can get out of there without paying hundreds of dollars like the other vets in town. I LOVE THIS VET AND WOULDN'T USE A DIFFERENT ONE IN TOWN!

Dr. McDowell is personable and seems to be a good vet. I have been a pet owner for decades and insist on good care. I have no complaints about Dr. McDowell. That said, I have encountered more spoiled little brat people here in Bentonville, Arkansas than in any of the other 14 places I have lived in my life.
