MY sweet dog was taken to the clinic- was diagnosed with Phenomena- was given a shot of Antibiotics and sent home to be returned the next morning for more shots. His visit was at 3:30 PM- they pulled a sample of blood and listened to this chest, went straight home with him, carried him in the house, gave him a bowl of water- told him i would be right back. Went outside to feed the rest of the animals of which took only about 15 minutes. Went back in and he was laying under my table in the kitchen deceased by 5:30 PM. (2 hours from time of appointment) I promise i will never use this Vet again, I will never recommend any one to him. I see him as simply taking peoples money and not really caring for the animal. I hope he can rest at night knowing what he does to people animal family. I rate this Vet is a absolute negative -0 to the fullest extent.

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Martin for years. The last yr one of my dogs has been sick. We've taken her to Dr. Martin minimum 4 times in the last year & only receive antibiotics for her. I finally took her elsewhere to find out she had 16 kidney stones with 1 being the size of a quarter & all the others the size of a dime! She is a 6 lb dog who had to deal with this for over a year bc he did not know what he was doing!! I would NEVER allow anyone I know to take another pet there!!!

This vet is a quack at best. Took my cat in this past Monday to find out why he was not eating and losing weight. Without even touching my cat he said he wanted him to fast so he could draw blood. I told him he had not eaten in almost 2 days and had drank very little. He still said he wanted him fasted and he wanted him to stay over night. I agreed thinking my cat would be in good hands. They never called me once I had to make 3 separate calls to the office to get updates and on my 2nd phone call I found out they sedated my cat to just draw blood. Needless to say I hit the roof that they would sedate a sick animal just to draw blood and not give a phone call to the owner to let the owner know this. When I placed my 3rd and final call they said my cat was awake and ready to go. Awake yes, ready to go?.....Hardly. He was so out of it he couldn't even stand up. Then I was told it would be 1 to 2 weeks before they would know what was making my cat so sick. 1 to 2 weeks really? Then they billed me for $97.00!!!! I ended up calling another vet that I heard about through my co workers and made an appointment for the very next day. Long story short I took my cat to the new vet whom is a lot better and within 1 hour we knew all my cats problems and they were all not good. In short my cats organs were shutting down and nothing could be done. I told the new vet what Dr. Martin's office had said and the new vet said he wouldn't have made it to the weekend. Please save yourself time heart break and money and go to a different vet.

Not knowing which vaccinations were legally required, we asked Dr. Martin to only give those which were, trusting he knew and would respect our wishes. He proceeded to give our animal four shots, none of which we found out later, are legally required. As a Vet, I would assume he knows the legalities, so the only conclusion I can come to is that I was knowingly lied to. He was not very communicative and we left feeling very uncared for. Also, they don't take debit cards, and who carries cash these days? The vet tech was friendly though.

I moved to Arkansas about 5 years ago. I love my animals and treat them like part of the family. It took a while to find Dr. Martin and when we did we were only regretful that we had not found him earlier. He loves his patients and their owners. He is always on the ball as to what is going on with our pets. We would not trade vets for anything. Thank you Dr. Martin for your special care and your good nature....
