I have been going to Country Vet in Farmington for more then five years. The staff is friendly and understanding, and the Vet is very, very knowledgeable. I have yet to get anything but a correct diagnosis and an honest answer to my questions. Pricing is exceedingly reasonable. They also handle farm animals in addition to house pets. Most important, though, is the honesty. When discussing a pet who has severe problems, the discussion will be forthright in costs, complications, and how feasible it is to preserve the life of your pet. When I took my cat in, and discovered he was Diabetic, the discussion on the difficulties and costs of the food and medicine needed to keep him healthy and alive was spot on. I cannot recommend this location enough. If it is an option for you, come here.

I can't say enough good about Country Vet. Dr O'neil is the best vet i've ever met. He has a great amount of patience to carefully examine and explain the situation with your pet. He is one of the only vets i can say is NOT primarily concerned with getting your money. He will tell you straightforward if a symptom can be treated without expensive meds or by itself. I have been to many vets in the area. Country vet is the BEST.
