Just recently took our dog for an appointment at this banfield. We had been going to another banfield before, but they were too busy to take us that day. My dog had an ear infection and wasn't feeling too good. The technician, chelle, I remember her name really well because it is my nieces name. She was the nicest technician I've ever had-at any of the banfield Ive gone to. She was very smart and explained everything very throughly and did it with a smile. My dog seemed to be really comfortable with her too, not nervous at all. The doctor, Dr. Cortinas, was awesome too. She really took the time to talk with me and answer my questions. I would definitely recommend that anybody go to to this Banfield, especially if they get chell and dr. cortinas for their appointment they're the best!!!

As a former employee of this hospital, I can assure you that this is no place to take your pet. While the doctors are plenty skilled, as so are several of the technicians, unsavory business practices and horrific management make this hospital a no-go. It is the only Banfield left in the valley that is not owned by corporate, and is owned by one of the doctors who works there, Dr. Kelly Patriqun, and her husband, Doug. Many employees have complained to corporate about the absolutely unacceptable things going on there- ranging from pets dying from lack of attention to employees stealing from other employees. Corporate has told the complaining employees that a charter hospital is, and I do directly quote Danny Melo at corporate, "the Wild West." Corporate has NO CONTROL over this clinic, and can do NOTHING about your complaints about them. When Dr. Patriquin gets a complaint you submit to corporate about herself or an employee, she is not required to do anything about it. She usually laughs, and says something to the effect of, "What do they want me to do about it?" They even keep their employee's floater holiday hours. These are allotted by rule at corporate Banfields, but corporate cannot force the Patriquins to allow their employees to use them- because they are a charter hospital. When Dr. Patriquin is questioned about what happens to these hours, she will respond, "Oh, I keep them and cash them out at the end of the year." Charming. I cannot say enough bad things about their business practices and their demeanor. Notice how it's hard to get an appointment at this hospital? That's because their highest production doctor, Dr. Greenway, left early this year for private practice at Sun Lakes Animal Clinic and they have not been able to replace her. They have just forced their remaining doctors to work far harder then they would like to. If it seems like there is always a new face there, and you can never see the same people twice, it is because their terrible management causes them to have unbelievable turnover. Even employees who have been working there since the clinic opened have recently fled because of what a nightmare it is. They also act spitefully toward employees who leave; trying to keep them from being hired at other Banfields, refusing to give a reference, or not paying them. One person who left is owed $1900 by the Patriquins, and they say they do not need to pay her because she no longer works there. The bottom line is that all this chaos, unhappiness and disorder leads to a very poor experience for your pet. The staff is miserable, over-worked, and under paid. No one could be expected to do their best work under these circumstances. There are too many good veterinarians in the valley to bother with this hospital, where PETS HAVE LITERALLY DIED BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH STAFF TO ATTEND THEM. I am sorry to my friends who still work there, I can only hope you get out soon. Those of us who have left are so happy at other hospitals, doing what we love- just where management is not incredibly shady. Hopefully corporate buys this hospital back before the contract is up, because another ten years of this irresponsible veterinary medicine is really unacceptable and reflects terribly on Banfield as a company. And to corporate: please do not patronize me with a comment that you care about my satisfaction and to call the CAT team-- we both know you can do nothing about this hospital, and letting Dr. P know will only give her a good laugh.

I was going to give this place a chance even after the bad reviews posted recently. Well they r liars and very misleading on what they tell you I had an appointment today and when I called to verify my appointment fees I was told 150.00 more over the phone then I was previous quoted. I asked them to check with the girl who made my appointment she told me she was new they said we have new people starting here all the time. What does that tell you? Thank god I did not go there. DO NOT GO HERE

I've been with Banfield for about 11 yrs and I have multiple pets insured with them. I've been to 2 other Banfield locations and they were great but not this one. If you are considering this one please look for some other location. They sucked the 1st time I took my pets there, decided to give them another chance and they made it worst. They will overcharge you for unnecessary stuff.... or they will ask to drop your pet at 7am not call you all day until it's 5 mins to closing time and then try to over charge you for after hours care for your pet!
