Kachina is great! They are very thorough with examinations and treatment. When our dog Shiloh, a beagle got sick with an incurable disease they did everything possible to save him and provide comfort when we finally had to put him to sleep. With our new pitbull mix, Deuce, they helped guide us through helping him get over all of his fears because he had been mistreated by some of his former owners. Now he is happy and well adjusted and loves to visit there even though he gets allergy shots every 2 weeks. I would recommend them to anyone who loves animals.

I have seven dogs ans they 4 of them have been taken care of by another Vet since birth until I moved to Mayer and started taking them all to Dr. Lynn. Have been very pleased with the care they have received, everyone at Kachina is very caring and outgoing. More importantly my dogs like them and like going there. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. My dog has arthritis. For 3 years he gets periodic Depo Medrol injections 20mg. He has been to 3 other vets in that time. Colorado and 2 in Arizona. New to the area Thurs I stopped in, spoke to the 2 ladies manning the office. Told them what my dog needed. Showed them his latest itemized bill from vet in Sun City. Was told he would be required to have an exam with the shot. Not so for existing patients. I have paid between $18.00 and $25.00 per injection at the other vets. I was told the combined charges would be in the mid $60.00 range. I said ok. Scheduled an appointment for the next day. Those ladies were not there when I arrived. After the briefest most cursory examination followed by the injection, I went to pay on my way out. I WAS PRESENTED WITH A BILL OVER $114.00. A VERY RUDE AND ETHICALLY CHALLENGED OFFICE MANAGER SAID SHE DIDN'T CARE WHAT I WAS TOLD YESTERDAY. THOSE PEOPLE WEREN'T HERE TODAY. SHE IS HERE AND I OWE OVER $114.00!!! THEY CHARGE $67.00 FOR THE INJECTION WHICH CAN BE HAD IN NUMEROUS VETERINARY OFFICES FOR LESS THAN 1/3 THAT PRICE. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. IF MY EXPERIENCE IS ANY INDICATION YOU ARE BEING VASTLY OVERCHARGED. TEST ON YOU WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. GET YOUR RECORDS AND CALL OTHER VETS. THE PRICE DIFFERENCE ON THIS ONE VISIT ALONE WOULD HAVE MORE THAN JUSTIFIED TAKING MY DOG TO HIS VET IN SUN CITY. I WOULD HAVE SAVED OVER $60.00 AFTER GAS COSTS AND VET CHARGES. WORD TO THE WISE. RESEARCH THIS FOR YOURSELF AND I THINK YOU WILL BE SHOCKED AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY.

We have been using Kachina Animal Hospital for about 5 years. Dr. McGill is very calm and patient with the dogs, giving them time to be comfortable with their checkup. She also provides excellent and detailed information about options you might have. I have appreciated having her as our family vet.
