Heck, if I was a veterinarian I'd charge at least twice as much as anybody else just to put up with the pets' owners. It's bad enough that the pets don't like the veterinarian, but to have the pet's owners come down heavy in the process is a trial of patience with both the animal and the owner. As pet owners it is our responsibility to make sure we can afford to obtain expert treatment for our pets when necessary. Experts in their field make what they do look easy. By that definition, Arrow Animal Hospital gets five stars for our visit.

I've been taking my dog here since she was a puppy. It was an emergency and they are literally right behind my house. Thankfully, I've only had to take her in for routine things, so it's few and far between. It really depends on which vet you see as to the quality of care you get.. Apparently breed also plays a factor. The last 2 out of 3 times she has been seen, she has been treated so poorly by the vet, that I've had to complain. The first time I brought her in for an exam and shots and the vet couldn't even be bothered to look her over. So a few days later I had to bring her back because she had a SEVERE ear infection that needed medication. Which I told the first vet and she dismissed my concerns. Dr. Willow (who is amazing) saw her when I brought her back. I've requested that she be the only person to handle my dog. Fast forward to this most recent visit. I scheduled it with Dr. W, but she was sick on the day we were scheduled. I knew in my gut I should have rescheduled, but I was behind on her shots and didn't think there was anything to be concerned about, so we took her. Yet again, another vet who can't be bothered to examine my dog properly. She stood against the wall the entire time and wouldn't touch her unless I was holding her. I get her home and there is a LUMP under her front arm, like the armpit area. Completely floored that this has happened TWICE at a place where animals are supposed to be cared for, I googled possibilities. I read it could have been a fat deposit, because she is a bit hefty. I've been feeding her less because I don't want her to get diabetes and thought maybe this would help. Well, some time has passed now (less than a month) and it "seems" to be getting bigger. If you are scared of certain types of breeds, don't see them.. Or better yet, don't become a vet. It's pretty simple. The vet tech was more caring towards my dog than the vet. That's a problem for me. She's never harmed a living thing and she never will. I raised my dog properly and for a vet to obviously feed into the misconception about these animals is completely appalling. I will be taking my BELOVED pet across the street to Sunburst from now on. I am not longer willing to put my fur-baby at risk because of a few inadequate vets!

I have been bringing my pets here for about 10 years and I love how patient and kind they are with my pets. They have helped us to get through having to send a couple beloved pets to the rainbow bridge, and each time we have recieved a paw print of our pet, and a lovely sympathy card later in the mail. They are meticulous in their records, and always work with us to have the best care for our pets. I love the fact they also have a no interest payment plan option when needed. We used this when we had a blown kneecap rebuilt on one of our dogs. I have many friends who go here as well, and we have moved away from this location to the other side of town, and we still always take our pets to them. I highly recommend them. Phenomenal staff that provides phenomenal service.

I just got my first dog and of course my concerns for her health are through the roof, especially because i got her from the pound. I first went to the VCA Northern animal hospital that the pound has an agreement with to look her over and they were absolutely horrible, i waited for an hour just for someone to talk to me (when i was the only one there) and when the vet came in she didn't even acknowledge me. When I went to Arrow Animal Hospital it was a breath of fresh air!! everyone was so nice, the service was fast and great, and even my dog (who is scared of everyone) would gladly walk and play with the techs! I am so happy I found them.

I was walking my dog very late at night and we began to run. My pup got tangled up in my legs when we were running and possibly dislocated his hip. He couldnt walk and I didnt know what to do. I called the az humane society very early in the morning to see if they could get me in right away but they couldnt promise me anything. I found Arrow Animal hospital on google and they were able to get me in right away. This place is very busy but they were still able to get me in within 30 min of scheduling an appointment and when I got there it was a very short wait to see a vet. The vets there were extremely friendly and very efficient at their jobs. I highly recommend this place to everyone because they are truely good at their jobs. My blue aussie puppy Buddy is much better now thanks to them! Thank you Dr Erica Jenkins!
