VCA is all about collecting your money. They don't really care about your pet. They have their tech's immediately talk about signing you up for CareCredit because each visit and procedure is going to cost you an arm and a leg. A woman who didn't speak English very well brought her dog in with some type of injury and started crying once she was told the cost, but "there's no need to fear, Carecredit is here!". They should have taken care of the dog first and if the woman couldn't afford the cost, so what. They overcharge everything anyway. $106 just to walk in the door. 90 Sucralfate tablets at Walgreen's costs $43. They charge $168 for the same amount. They'll recommend other expensive procedures and then may refer you to a specialist who's just as expensive. I spent $4100 there and lost my pet anyway. Don't use VCA. Find a vet who cares and has the facilities to take care of your pet's needs.

I just brought my dog there because i think he has parvo. They started having me apply for the carecredit program immediately. I was denied. They tell me they think he has parvo but can't treat him or give me shots to treat him myself. I don't understand why they couldn't do something at all. Told me to come back if i cam come up with the funds

Hello, I wanted to write you and tell you how overly impressed and truly touched I was to have received such quality and compassionate care for my German Shepard Sasha on 07/09/2013. Sasha is a member of our family that just happens to have 4 legs vs. two but carries the same level of love and devotion from our family. I brought her to you due to her acting out of sorts and from the very first phone call when I spoke with Donna, I got a sense that she would be taken care of if I brought her in. Once arriving I was surely not disappointed as the front desk staff was friendly and made the writing above the desk mean something other than being just words. The caring continued once I meet Donna and she performed the initial assessment of Sasha and really listened to find what may be bothering her. Once we meet Dr. Sarah Higgins it got even better with her very thorough exam of Sasha and her attention to find the root of the problem. Thankfully she was able to find the issue and provide us with a plan of care for our baby. Sadly we live in a time where people do not tell other when they are doing a good job, they only speak up when people are doing bad. We had a very good experience at VCA. We cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Brian. He was very caring and saved our great dane with a GDV. He was easy to understand and everything he told us was accurate in the recovery and post op care that we could provide for our dog. We wish Dr. Brian could be our primary vet, although he is strictly an emergency surgeon. One of the best as well! We will not hesitate to use VCA again and thank them for exceleent care.

Dr Brian really cares about our family members (pets) and the staff is very helpful.
