I brought my dog into the clinic on a Sunday morning because I thought she swallowed a metal clip off of a wooden clothespin. The staff was fantastic and very efficient. After a very short wait they took her for an x-ray to determine if she had indeed swallowed the clip. After a few minutes the Vet came out with good news, no metal clip. Everyone in the clinic is very caring and personable. I highly recommend this clinic and would definitely use them again, but I hope I don't need to.

WE took our Scarecrow (Black Cairn) to to the Emergency Animal Clinic around Christmas. He had an ear infection. They took good care of him...He has had Pancreatitus, so him medical history is long...They went thru his files, and were very careful about his treatment....I asked them to check his blood sugar as he had not had breakfast or his insulin...They did, and advised us to not give him his insulin that day at all. The ear infection has cleared up, and today Scarecrow is doing an insulin studu at his hospital, Southern Colorado Veterinary clinic. With the chance he will no longer have to be on insulin...Thanks for your help.....

We took Tucker in on Sunday morning when we could not reach a vet. We couldn't have been more pleased with the staff. The doctor examined Tucker, and following Xrays, reported the problem. He was put on an IV and given pain meds. Since we didn't have a vet in Phoenix, we were given names of vets in our area. The vet we chose contacted EAC and were given the results of their tests and actions taken. When we picked Tucker up the following morning to take him to the vet who was ready for his surgery upon arrival, Tucker was brought out with the IV and catheter in place. From what the doctor and staff said at that time, we could tell he was given compassionate and loving care. We are so glad to know that EAC is ready to help in an emergency. We were informed up front of the costs we could expect and the procedures which were going to be performed. A refund was given for the procedures the staff found were not necessary. We would have lost our little dog without this facility's expert diagnosis and care. We are sharing the information about the Peoria EAC with all of our snowbird friends who have their pets with them out here during the winter months. You are appreciated!

We took our little chihuahua mix in after a seizure preparing for the worst that we would have to put her down. The staff checked her and let her rest and in a little while, she was acting much better and we were able to take her home. They didn't even charge us. The other visits I've had to the clinic were, unfortunately, all end of life visits. The staff always took us right in and were very compassionate and caring. They let you take as much time as you need and are very sympathetic and understanding. I cannot think of a better place to take your pets when you need emergency care. Of course, the expense is a little more, but when your vet is closed and you need care, it is all worth it. I highly recommend the Emergency Animal Clinic.

took my cat there because me vets office was closed. she died in the back room supposedly while they were attempting to put an IV in her. they refused to llet me be in the room with her. worst vet experience ive ever had. id rather drive across town than put another pet i love thru that kind of misery
