We took our dog in after he got into a fight. He had two large puncture wounds on his cheek and was missing some skin. They wanted $800-1000 to save his cheek. When we told them that it was not possible for us to pay that, we asked if they could just clean the area to prevent infection. The tech came back with an offer of $350+ to clean the area. The antibiotics they prescribed were $107. We left without any results and found the same medication online at for $40. A week later his face was perfectly fine.
