whoever allows this vet to be there should reconsider and put some competent help and vet in there, my dog ate some grapes I called to ask what I should do and the doc or whatever she wants to call herself relayed messages back and forth to the girl not taking the time to answer herself. If she can sit there and talk where OI can her her response she should pick up the phone. I asked specifically is there something I should give my dog or do, response which I find out is rather ignorant and asinine just watch if he throws up take to emergency clinic. Any stupid vet would know that hydrogen peroxicide would make them vomit , all over the internet, fortunatley my vet got back to me in time to tell me what to do. I would not take any animal that you care about to this clinic, read the reviews first they have a few negative reviews, they are not a part of Petsmart they are only squatters that rent the spot.

worst experience i have ever had in my life with a Animal Hospital.... I took my one year old American bulldog in to the Banfield Animal hospital located in the Petsmart at 2901 W Agua Fria Fwy Phoenix, AZ 85027. As soon as we walked in the door my American Bull Dog was scared. In the past she has had to be muzzled because of being around people she is unsure of. I personal had to walk her in to the back and place her into the kennel which was not a problem i have had to do it before knowing that she will act out with me not there or not having her harness on. I offered for them to keep her harness with her it is much easier for to get compile with what she is being told and in past visits i was told that there would be a note made in the system but i was told that there was no note and they were not allowed to keep it because if it was lost it was there responsibility I told her its just a harness and I can replace it but still they would not keep it. At 9:15 AM I received a phone call from Dr. Jucan saying that she had to sedate her and she was and hit her mouth on the floor and she has a cut on her gum but its wasn't anything bad, after hanging up the phone with her and speaking with my father he wanted to speak with Dr. Jucan. Dr. Jucan continued to tell him what happen but the story had changed. She told him that she was sedated but didn't hit her head on the ground she smacked her head against the kennel after speaking with my father and hearing the story had change I once again called and want to get the story straighten out AND AGAIN her story had changed by this time with the story changing 3 times i want to speak the top leader for that hospital so i placed a call and after an hour i received a phone call from the leader of that Banfield Hospital he noted my complaint and called Dr. Jucan she once again changed the story. He wanted to know what they could do to make the experience better and how they could resolve the situation like it wasnt a big deal that my Child was hurt after talking with everyone i could to place my complaint in. I finally received the phone call that i could pick up my baby once getting to the hospital with my mother we were asked to step into a room so we can speak with the doctor with my notes in hand that had word for word everything that the Dr. and the leader had said. I once again let her try to explain her side of the story and for the 5th time the story changed after letting her speak I tried to explain why I was upset and put in the compliant about her after being cut off several times and being asked what she had done wrong my temper had got the best of me i had to walk out of the room my mother had to explain to Dr jucan that my American bull dog wasn't just a dog she was my baby my child my world.. Dr Jucan tried saying that she loves the all the bull dog breeds she love to smoosh their faces and give them kisses (being a vet you would think she would know that you DO NOT WHAT SO EVER put your face in to the face of a dog that you DO NOT KNOW!!!) finally i was told to go to the back to get my baby out of the kennel because she was to scared for someone else to get her out when i saw my baby all i could do was cry her face looked like she had a baseball on the inside of her mouth she had 5 stitches black and blue all over inside and out on the right side of her mouth to add on to all of that i notice a gash under her eye and that she was just swollen all over her right side... when it came time to check out they tried saying that i had to pay for the meds for her lip so there wouldnt be an infection I let the office manager know that I WILL NOT be paying for their mistake if My baby was taken care of like i thought this hospital could do this stuff would never had happen the office manager was disrespectful and NO ONE ever apologized for what had happen. I hope my experience will help you pick a better care giver for your four legged child.. My four legged child who is a sweet protective loving goof ball went throw a heck of a time heeling physical and emotionally....

Clean friendly and knowledgeable

I had a negative experience here. I had to get my cat vaccinated before she could board at a pet hotel while I was out of town. Banfield didn't record the vaccine my cat received and I was unable to prove she was current on her vaccinations to the pet hotel. Also, while I thought Banfield would be more reasonable on its pricing, it was just as costly as a regular veterinarian, and the assistants spent a lot of time trying to sell you on expensive "payment plans."

Great staff and excellent vets and techs. Clean location. Busy sometimes so don't expect to walk in anytime without an appt. and get helped right away. Be reasonable folks. Make an appt when you can.
