Don't recommend. Alittle over a month ago, my aging dog just needed an annual exam and follow-up liver ultrasound. Dog was very healthy for its age and was able to hear great before coming to East Maryland Animal Hospital. Under Dr. Martens' care, the dog became violently ill, forced to go to vet ER (a ton of extra expenses), and became deaf. Dr. Martens refused to do the ultrasound I requested (& was recommended by 2 other vets). Unfortunately, on the 1st visit, everyone "seemed" so nice & caring; and I was talked into buying a "Plan" membership that would promise to save me lots of money. Now I feel stuck with this clinic on their "Plan" that almost killed my dog and who is now apparently deaf. What a scam Plan!

My dog had been sick and the office was so helpful in getting an apointment set for me to come in. Eeven though they couldnt see me the same day, they gave me tips to help until I could get in for my appointment. The entire office staff was warm, friendly and really cared about me and my dog. Dr. Schroeder was amazing as well. She was great with my dog and I would highly recommend both her and the office. This will be my vet office for sure!

Researching to find a vet for our pets and this was such a good experience all around. Called and got a same day appointment, all three of our dogs, Office is quite spacious, clean, and staff very attentive to us and especially our pets. Met with Tara and Dr. Martens, we loved that they treated all of our pets like their own. Highly recommend.

I've been using EMAH for my cat for 2.5 years and I've been nothing but satisfied. Recently my cat stopped eating after a dental procedure (not a surprise) but after 5 days of no improvement I called them and got right in. They got her back up to speed in a couple of days and she's been fine ever since. Also, the communication I received was excellent. They did what they said they'd do when they said they'd do it (tests, calling me with updates when they said they would, followup calls to check and make sure my cat was doing okay). I point this out b/c almost NO company does this anymore; they'll say "oh we'll call you at such and such a time" and don't. EMAH DOES and it' makes a HUGE difference.

Veronica, thank you so much for helping me and my "baby" Bruiser find a wonderful CARING office. You are correct everyone is so kind, caring, not only did everyone make me feel comfortable but they moved slow so Bruiser would get to know them and he was comfortable also. thank you for sharing!!!
