We absolutely love this place. We have tried others because we live so far away but the 20 mile drive is well worth it. Never do we have to worry about them padding the bill or suggesting unnecessary procedures. From the time we walk in we know our pets are in good hands. We have big and little dogs and a couple of cats that we will not take anywhere else.

I have taken my 90 pound dog to Dr. Lisa Hatfield for 7 years now. She is great with the dog and with discussing any issues with me. I have had other vets that are good with the dog but not with me, Lisa is great with both.

My cat of 11+ years developed an eye infection. Just moving to the area I found Moon Valley Animal Hospital online. The staff was very kind and gentle with my cat and put me to ease it was allergies that is easy to treat. I called in advance and explained my cat is frightened of cages and dogs. They had a room available for me to go directly to without waiting in the reception area with other dogs. Thank you for my peace of mind...and Beethoven's:) Tamera

I'm writing this for two reasons, #1, it is clear that "V Wyndham"'s review is ridiculous. It doesn't take any medical training to see that their complaint is absolutely absurd. It's just not within the realm of reasonably plausible. And when I looked at this person's other reviews, it became even clearer that this person has a habit of spending money on things that they don't really understand in the first place, and then makes it out like they are somehow a victim. I say all that because I've been coming to this vet since 2007. I have never had a bad experience. Over the years they have treated all five of my dogs. They are not the cheapest out there, and no one really likes to pay bills like these, but the care and service I get from them is well worth the fees. They are very professional. The facilities are nice and clean. They are always honest about options, and the bottom line is all of my dogs are healthy do in large part to the advice I get from them. I don't write reviews often, but when I read this negative review, I felt I needed to respond in some way. I recommend them to everyone I know with pets, and you can be confident that you will get quality care for your pet here.

Spent a ton of money with these folks - all they wanted was more. whenever our pet had a complaint - they immediately said it needed surgery which was in the thousands. Found a new vet after the 3rd pet they said needed expensive testing or surgery and we had them examined for the same problem and all three did not need any testing or surgery but cured with simple diet and medication changes. Stay away from them - they will suck ya dry and put your pet through junk by seeming nice and concerned.
