Our dog saw Dr. Greatting and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. The exam was very thorough and all my questions were answered.

These Docs and staff were amazing! Very caring and explained everything really well. They took wonderful care of our 5 year old schnauzer mix. She lost the use of her hind legs due to a ruptured disc that was smashing her spinal cord. They performed emergency surgery on her and she is back to normal. We can't thank them enough for the love and compassion they showed us and our pet.

In the summer of 2010 my dog became very ill, and we were referred to VetNeuro. Dr. Knowles was my primary vet and I honestly couldnt have asked for someone better. Over the 5-6 week ordeal, my dog was diagnosed with encephalitis and had to undergo numerous chemo treatments. As luck would have it, I had to travel out of the country for 4 weeks during that time. Dr Knowles worked with me and my friends, who were looking after my dog. She even let my roommates hook up Skype so we could discuss further treatments. Dr. Knowles still remembers my little survivor to this day and has always been honest and real with her diagnoses. To say she and the vet techs at the Veterinary Neurological Center are lifesavers would be an understatement.

Run, don't walk away from this place if you can. I think the doctors are probably competent...but in our opinion, uncaring. We were referred to them because they were the only ones who could do an MRI in the Phoenix area. But it was obvious from the moment were approached reception, they cared not a lick about us or our Golden Retriever. The exam and MRI should have taken about 2-3 hours at most. Instead, we spent the entire day in their incredibly sterile office. It felt like we were in a County General Hospital. We were charged astronomical amounts of money for x-rays and the MRI, and then told there was nothing they could do to help our four-legged child. But they had no problem taking our money. It was an awful experience. Again, they are probably competent, technically and medically. But if I had it to do all over again...well...you get the picture. There are, in fact, great vets in the Phoneix area. Dr. Stephanie Foote, and all of the staff at VetMed Arizona are fantastic. I wish we had taken our Golden there first. That's my recommendation. You will not be sorry.
