I have been taking my dogs to Power Ranch Animal Hospital for almost 6 years. They have done nothing but wasted my money and had me spend thousands of dollars on unnecessary blood works, ex rays and skin scrapes, only to concluded that they don't have an answer to what's happening to my dogs. They have over dosed on medication quite a few times and are strong believers in pain killers rather than solutions to problems. After the last visit and multiple ex rays later, I was left without answers again only to find the answer online within few minutes of googling. Once I called the office to speak to the vet, the technician was told that he doesn't feel comfortable with the issue at hand and that I should consult a specialist. The least he could have done is answer the phone and told me that himself after all the visits and money invested, but instead he opted to act like a coward and tell the nurse to tell me that. This has been a real big disappointment due to the fact that we rely on these "professionals" to save our children. Please consider looking for the answers online before thinking of spending money on aimless guesses at this clinic, you will have better chances getting the answers you seek from the Internet than these people who call themselves VETS.
My tiny Chihuahua was treated there and the Doctor was warm and efficient. He took care of the Dental problems plus took it upon himself to find out why she had trouble opening her mouth. I was not charged for what his curiosity discovered. When I picked her up. She was in a blanket and in the arms of one of the Staff. She was not scared or nervous, a miracle. I definitely recommend this office.
We had to help our senior dog cross the rainbow bridge and never in our lives have we experienced an office that is so caring and supportive during a very difficult time. You can tell that the staff and vets really enjoy what they are doing. Not only do we approve of the office our dogs approve also. The first office that our little one has not tried to bite the techs or the vet. They are very compassionate and gentle when handling your pet.
Having previously been a customer here since the clinic opened I always received exceptional care for my pet. I had moved out of town a couple of years ago and was recently visiting in the area when I needed to have an appointment for my English Bulldog Wilson. My appointment was quickly made, handled on time, the diagnosis confidently made, and the prescription for his care dispensed. The fees and costs were well within the nominal charges I have experienced in my travels throughout the country. Dr Stitzer has always been a very competent and caring veterinarian during my association with his clinic and I highly recommend his services. The staff was very friendly, informed, and caring, just as I remembered. The facility was clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I will be sure to use this facility whenever the need arises when I am in the Phoenix area.
I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars taking my dogs to Power Ranch. They are close to my house and it is convenient. Recently my dog had a surgery done there, while he was under, they convinced me to let them clean his teeth (for more money of coarse). I took that same dog to another clinic less than 2 months later and they highly doubted that his teeth had been cleaned so recently. Plaque was so thick on his teeth, in their professional opinion, we were charged for a service that was not performed. I called Power Ranch and basically said "well we did it" and that was the end of that. They refused to do anything to acknowledge the fact that his teeth looked so bad which is highly unusual for this dog who is 7 years old and has only needed 1 tooth pulled in the past. He has great teeth as the other clinic confirmed that I usually go to. I feel like they were dishonest and should have done more to rectify the situation. Instead, they blamed it on the breed. Well, I know the breed and I also know my dog- and I agree with the other professionals that I was scammed. They will not be getting any of my business in the future, nor will I refer them friends and family.
