Called 3 Banfield locations hoping to get some stitches for our dog who cut herself Friday afternoon. None could see me today and one said it would be several days before someone was available. Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic had me come over immediately and we were in and out in under an hour. Great service, friendly help, and thorough examination.

Worst place in the world to take your pet. My 15 year old dog COULD NOT WALK and they were more concerned about his distended stomach. They talked me into an xray of his belly in case there was something there that was sending blood clots to his spine. They already knew he had elevated liver levels and had a problem with his liver. I consented to the Xray, they pointed out the growth (which was on his liver) but they told me it was on his spleen and it should be removed (they would lose money if it was on his liver because you can't remove that). someone please tell me why I would put a 15 year old dog through surgery to remove his spleen WHEN HE CAN'T WALK. Took him to another vet - Dr. Burke at Cornerstone WHO IS AWESOME and he immediately addressed the inflammation that was causing my dog not to be able to walk. I was considering put my precious dog down, went for a second opinion, asked for my records to be sent to Cornerstone and QC Vet never did fax. They sent an "authorization form" for me to sign which was nothing more than a marketing questionnaire asking why we were at another vet - I could go on and on and on. They are awful. They care for nothing more than the almighty dollar and not your pet. I almost put my dog down because of them because I thought that was my only option. Wouldn't let them touch any pet of mine EVER AGAIN.

We bought our home in 2011, and I wanted a dog, We went to the pound and adopted this skinny little lab pit mix, you could see her ribs, she was (guessing) 3 months old. I have really not been around dogs much, but when we got her home she would just lay in the corner, and she had very stinky runny poops. We called QCVC to get the free exam. When we got there they were great, the (med aid?) Kat was superb and still is, Our Lil Lady is now 3 years old and a bit overweight, no she did not have parvo but was very dehydrated, had parasites in her stool, and kennel cough, along with a few other issues. In Oct. same year we got a 6 week old puppy, Miss Priss (Missy) has been going since. They have package prices and while I don't know what other places charge, QCVC has always been there for us. We also have Willa my sister gave her to us more than a year ago. Our 3 girls are healthy, Missy has a sensitive stomach and has to be on prescription food, we buy the food there at QCVC, convenience was our 1st reason for buying it there, price checking online keeps us going back. There prices are comparable. I love this place, they are always there for our girls. Dr. Megan Clansey is about the best vet you would ever meet, don't forget about Kat, Becky, Lizzie, and a few others. I would highly recommend QCVC for all your furry family needs. Cheryl

My 25 year old daughter took our dog in on Thursday because she was exhibiting signs of poisoning or stroke. The vet wanted to run $440 worth of tests. She consented to labs only. By the time I got there 2 hours later the bill was up to $720. We were told that they suspected rat poisoning even though a urinalysis was never done. Upon my arrival it was clear that our dog was suffering from severe neurological damage. We were given a prescription for human Vitamin K1 & were told that any pharmacy would have it. To my horror the drug cost $2000 for #112 tablets. She needed to take 8 at a time, twice a day. After researching the medication on the internet I found the same medication for canines on Amazon at a cost of $20 for 50 tablets. Unfortunately our dog took a turn for the worse so I took her to another vet the next day for a second opinion. We were told that she would never recover & had to euthanize her. I wish that Dr Megan Clancy would have been as honest with us. Instead she was feeding on our emotions & trying to get us to pay for tests that would not have made a difference.
