Nice facility, very clean. Warm and friendly staff. Knowledgeable doctor. I recommend this Vet.

I dont recommend this hospital. I had just adopted a puppy and he got really sick and they were the first hospital that had appointments open (thats a big hint). I got there, the Vet went in for less than 5 minutes then said he would be back and never came back. He had his assistant do everything and I never saw him again. The assistant was really nice but I was not pleased with the vet. He didnt explain anything, he just left the room. I could understand if it was busy but I was the only one there. When the results came back, for the very expensive test he recommended, they never called me and he said it was because they had my wrong number. They had 2 phone numbers for me and my email address. I recommend Banfield at Petsmart, just went today. It was great!! Vet was great, spent 20+ minutes with us and explained everything in full detail. He even took some time at the beginning of the consult to just play with the dog. The vet at banfield did everything himself (shots, temp, exam).

Vets are ok, a little pricey but I had a voucher so I went ahead and got the full deal. The girls up front though? they have problems with basic math, difficulty with the English required to convey said math, do not communicate with each other, and to top it all off double charge your card for different amounts, so most likely pocketing one of the transactions. When it was brought to their attention, they fought it, so I have to do a charge back. would not recommend

I regret bringing my dog here for her spay surgery, I've been here before and took a tour and the lady was very nice at the time. So when I found out about the Maricopa SNAP program they sent me a voucher. So since Aztec Animal Hospital was listed and the reviews were great I decided to make the appointment here. So when I bring my pup for drop off I get the cold shoulder which should've been a sign for me but instead I went ahead with the surgery. Now I spent all day worried about my dog and I was the one who would call to make sure she was okay although they assured to call me when my dog was out of surgery. Now when I see her wound I didn't notice at first because she was so out of it and my main focus was her comfort. Days passed and I noticed a bump coming out of her wound, so then I notice that her nipples aren't aligned then come to find out one is missing and the bump I saw in her wound was the missing nipple. Now I know she may only be a pup but to me she's a companion and apart of my family and there should've been more effort put into her surgery. Makes me wonder about what I "can't" see. I really feel that I failed to find her the best care and therefore my experience with this hospital was horrible. Who knows if they even gave her the rabies shot that was included in the voucher. They make me feel horrible for even trusting them.

This is by far one of the best veterinary clinics I have ever been too. Dr. Flores clearly cares a great deal about his patients, and does an excellent job of explaining what might be wrong with your pet, how he proposes to fix it, and then keeping you updated after a treatment plan is in place. My cat was hit by a car and tore her cruciate ligament--when I left after dropping her off I was 100% confident she was in good hands. The staff is equally amazing--I ask a lot of question anytime I visit any doctor and there wasn't one they could not answer. They were very friendly with my cat, they were extremely friendly and willing to help, and offered a lot of great advice in how to care for my pet after the surgery. They were also able to work with the loan I took out from care-credit which was what I was worried about most. I've lived in 6 different states, and probably visited over 30 different veterinary clinics. I believe Aztec Animal Hospital is the best one I've ever been too.
