This place is absolutely Amazing. I've been coming here for the past year for general checkups and vaccinations. Never had a problem with them. Then, something serious happened with my dog and I. While on a neighborhood walk, my dog and I were viciously attacked by TWO unprovoked Pit Bulls that were astray. It was by far the most gruesome experience of my life. Absolutely horrifying, and I don't scare easily. To make a long story short, my dog (lab mix) suffered numerous, deep tissue wounds. I was in fear of losing my dog. I rushed her to Surprise Animal Hospital and dropped her off while I went to seek medical attention for myself. Dr. Bizzul took my dog for surgery to treat the wounds and place numerous wound drains (about 7). Thankfully, the procedure went well. Dr. Bizzul also saw my dog for all of her followup visits (about 5) to treat the wounds. Dr. Bizzul even took the time to call me several times over the course of a month to see how my dog (Ruby) was doing at home. All the wounds healed well and are infection free. I cannot thank Dr. Bizzul and the general staff at Surprise Animal Hospital enough for the care and treatment they provided to my dog. Thank You! It is easy to see that this place truly cares about pets/animals. They are always friendly and the place is very clean. I thought the prices were reasonable, too. I highly recommend this place!!

My 3 mo. old poodle puppy got her face caught in one of those hand grabber tools to pick things up from the floor. As she shook it she became more frightened and was screeming. I was as in another room when this happened. Although I ran to help her, I couldn't free her from the tool. If I held her and the long bar a certain way in her mouth she quit screaming, but the slightest change of position of her or the bar caused her to panic and start screaming. I couldn't let go of her to drive her to the hospital - or the 4' bar. Finally I reached a friend by speaker phone who drove us to the Surprise Animal Hospital.

I have been bringing my boxers to see Dr. Leigh Ann Stanstny for about 10 years. All of my dogs would get so excited to see her that they would jump out of the truck and run to the hospital door! About 1 year ago Dr. Stanstny relocated to the Surprise Animal Hospital and of course we followed her. This office is fantastic! The staff there is so friendly to the animals that sometimes we have to ask for our pets back so we can go into the exam room. Recently we lost both of our boxers. We had to put Doaner down and Dr. Stanstny cried right along with me. She truly cares. Bryzie passed during the night at an emergency hospital. I asked Dr. Stanstny to go over his records from that night with me. She spent an hour with me and explained what had happened to my beloved pet. I felt no rush to leave. She wanted to make sure that all of my questions were answered. We have 2 new puppies and I wouldn't take them anywhere else!

The staff at Surprise Animal Hospital is amazing. They took care of our dog Sonny when he was at his worst and we can't thank them enough for watching over him. They truly do care about each animal and they also make sure you are well taken care of. I wouldn't recommend anyone else! Dr. Stastny, Amanda and Katrina were all amazing today and these are truly good people who have been blessed with such a gift. Thank you for all that you do to help our puppies.

This is a truely amazing Vet Hosp....went to another a few days ago, and left with medication and a possible diagnosis for our Boston,,,,after two days, deciede that we needed another Vet....They quickly diagnosed the problem, advised how to remedy and provided great down home concern for our dog..........
