Recently brought my puppy in for a simple nail clipping. The pet stores and groomers refuse to clip his nails as he's already 85 lbs and even close to a year old. The last time I took him to another groomer, my puppy refused to go in. But he was happy the entire time at Baseline Animal Clinic, even after he had his nails clipped. The staff was very kind and caring. I'm going to make this my new vet. I live in north Phoenix, but will definitely drive back down to Tempe to see these guys again.

Well, it's a veterinarian. They do dog and cat repair. The staff is really, very friendly. They actually get to know the animal and you, and are very courteous. However, as is the case with all veterinarians, they really do push the "up-sale" for any treatments for your animals. And, the prices do seem to be rather high. One thing they'll do is to make you a bill that show the 'low-ball' price to cure what ails your pet, and the 'high-ball' price for all the suggested shots, procedures, exploratory X-rays, MRIs, and all the other high-dollar stuff they want you to do. I've never had an issue here, and like I said, the staff is very nice and friendly.

My family & I moved down, to Arizona (from Canada) 3 years ago. With 2 dogs and a Guinea Pig. We were not sure about all the new insects and creatures we would encounter. Dr. Finch and his staff were very informative, and helpful. This past Dec 23 2013 we had to put our best friend Buddy down (he was 14). Dr. Finch and his staff, were so helpful to us. It was devastating for my kids. Dr. Finch actually took the time and showed them the exrays of Buddy's tumors. My kids understood better. We recently got a new puppy. After we got him, we had all the tests done and discovered that our new dog had coxeadea and gueradia (spelling sorry). They were so helpful. In fact my husbands father had a medical emergency and we had to go back to Canada very quickly. NO DOG kennel would take our new puppy. Dr. Finch and his staff looked after Bandit the whole 10 days we were gone. In fact I came home to a puppy with some new tricks. Dr. Finch and his staff go above and beyond. Everytime we walk in the door, they know our pets names. and they take the time. If Dr. Finch is 10 minutes late for the next appointment, its only because he has taken the time to inform a patient. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say for Baseline Animal clinic. Dr. Finch and his staff will be our vet, until he is retired or we move back to Canada

I've had to take my cat Ben in a few times for several different reasons and they have always been extremely wonderful. To the max. Once, I woke up and discovered that my cat had somehow (in a room with a sleeping me and no other animals) managed to get his tooth caught on something and half ripped out of his gums/jaw. It looked so painful and red and angry and he just hopped up on the bed to wake me up like nothing was wrong. I called the Clinic and got him an appointment for the same day, a few hours later. I coddled him to the point of annoyance in the mean time. Once we arrived, we were seen immediately and the vet was able take him into the back, put him under and surgically remove the canine that was jutting from jaw. They stitched the little hole up and woke my buddy up and we were back home with some pain meds within an hour and a half. Just the other day, I noticed that Ben was not acting like himself. Too lethargic, even for a fat and lazy cat, so I took him in. After some tests and an x-ray, we discovered that he was super backed up and required an enema. Not Ben's most shining moment, but now he's happy, shaved, evacuated and basking in the sunlight like the happy cat I know. As long as I live in Arizona, I'll come here. I find the pricing to be extremely reasonable and all that jazz as well. Every member of staff, techs, and vets I've met have been super duper nice and knowledgeable.

I would just like to take the time to share my recent experience at BAC. I recently lost my beloved cat Bug. During treatment we did everything we could, but in the end it was just her time. I cant express enough how grateful I was to have the caring tentativeness of the Dr's and staff. never once did they ever make me feel like they didn't care for my furry friends well being, in fact it was the complete opposite! They made sure I had a memento to take home. (her paw prints in clay) they even sent a sympathy card. I have never experienced such thoughtfulness! thank you for making this tough time a little easier! Thank you all for you hard work and sincere empathy!
