I really adore this vet. I have three dogs. Dr. McEachern is a no-nonsense vet that takes the best care of your pet without any up-charges or add-ons. Her prices are easily the best in town and her level of care is superior. I have senior dog (17 y/o) that has had a slew of issues from kidney to dental issues. As a medical professional myself, I feel confident with Dr. McEachern's treatments, diagnoses, and rates. I know for a fact that I am not being up-charged here so I feel comfortable bringing my dogs here for any concern. My only complaint is that the front desk or tech staff seems to be irregular- sometime awesome, sometimes not so great regardless- go in, get help, and leave with proper, suitable care.
This office was suggested by a friend who took her rescue animals there. We love this office. My Sammy has received excellent care there for everything from an abscess to neuter to nail trimming. I've always been very pleased. Be sure to ask if there are any specials running for things like spay/neuter or gland expression/nail trims. I love that this office works with rescues to help save lives. I'll be taking all my animals to Sundance Vet Hospital as long as I live in this area, and that is saying something since there are probably 20 vet offices between my home in Goodyear and this office in Tolleson. :)
I rescued a Boxer from HALO. As with many adopted animals, he contracted kennel cough. Sundance saw him that day and the doctor and staff were very knowledgeable and answered all my concerns.
I did a working interview for this clinic for two days and it was a nightmare! They don't tell you anything and expect you to know their way of doing things right away! The vet calls her staff names and she fired the lead tech the day I was there for questioning her authority which the tech never did. She did tail and dewclaw surgery on 8 puppies and got mad when I tried to keep them from bleeding everywhere. I finally could not take the abuse from this horrible lady and walked out. Months later they were calling and emailing me saying they were missing stuff. I was there two days and you have cameras. I told them to stop contacting me and I didn't want anything to do with them. When I left the other tech walked out too so she had zero techs because of how horrible and rude she is. She quick scrambled to place craigslist ads but last I knew she went a month without a tech because her attitude and nobody wanted to work for her. Karma I guess!
Just got turned away with my sick dog who won't eat or drink. Lady at the front desk said the doctor was out because her house was on fire, and legally there was nothing her or the 2 other people could do but chit chat with some lady lady picking up her cat. I questioned her why are they still open and another lady spoke up "so people can pick up their pets". the front desk lady did hand me a flyer showing me other clinics, but my only transportation at the moment is bicycle... So basically no one looked at my dog since everyone there except the doctor is legally unable to anything. Update: 3.5 hrs later, he finally passed, I'm guessing from dehydration. the Doc in Laveen was away at a conference & Santis was apparently full...
