My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Ina Rd. for many years. Their caring and expertise are consistently outstanding--and we have very high standards where our animals are concerned. It's true that if they have an emergency with another client, you will have to wait, which is precisely what we would want if our pet was the one with the emergency. It's also true that during their chaotic times, some of the staff are less nicey-nice in an interpersonal sense. My impression is that this is because they're focused on caring for the animals, not appeasing the people. Again, that's what I'd want for my pet. These folks saved our greyhound after a snakebite and happily provided updates on his condition when I called (over and over) in the middle of the night during his 3-day hospital day. I also appreciate their ethics in providing estimates up front. They get that not everyone can afford every service, and in my experience there's no judgment around that. Highly recommend.

The first time I took my dog to Ina Road Animal Hospital was Christmas Day, 2013. I'd given her a marrow bone and two of her bottom teeth got lodged in the hole in the bone. I was frantic although my dog wasn't (she just kept licking the stuck bone). I called and they told me to come right in. It took some doing but they cut it off her teeth while keeping her calm. Six months later I had to take her in because one of her back legs went lame. Dr. Reed does acupuncture and we did that for a few months. Each treatment was a lovely exercise in quiet and tranquility. Dr. Reed would pet her and talk quietly and softly to her. Dr. Reed and the rest of the staff have been wonderful. They treat my dog (and me) as if we're family, are always happy to see us and do a good job. They're gentle with my dog; pet her, soothe her and generally make her comfortable in surroundings that can be scary in the best of circumstances. I really like this animal hospital. I really like the staff.

Without a doubt IRAH is the best veterinary hospital I've ever been to. We live in Sahuarita and we still take our pets to IRAH because they are worth the drive. The people are really kind and the vets are extremely thorough and knowledgeable. The staff at IRAH has saved several of our pugs on multiple occasions. I've never been to a vet in Phoenix, but I would still be willing to say IRAH is among the best clinics in all of Arizona.

We took our lab here in January of 2013 when he had a seizure due to a brain tumor. The entire office was so kind and caring. They referred us to the animal hospital on La Canada. We did not know how to get there, so one of the vet techs went over with us. Our dog passed away the next day, and the office called to check on us. We have had wonderful experiences with this office, and now take our new dog to them.

My wife and I got a new Lab puppy, she had some intestinal problems so I took her to another veterinary hospital was given some medication and sent on my way, (the Vet never even gave my 10 month old puppy a complete exam) after a week and little improvement in her condition, I went to Ina Road Animal Hospital, The Vet Tech was very knowledgeable and compassionate, and the Veterinarian was very professional and completely explained my dogs condition and the course of action, She did a complete exam and was open to questions and concerns. I got a good feeling about the professionals in this office. They do analysis on site so no waiting a day for results. Your pet is well taken care of as soon as possible. They have a new customer that is thankful for their knowledge, dedication and caring. IRAH had an open house later that day, Wife and I got a tour. Class organization, from the front desk to the techs and the Veterinarians. Thank You
