P.A.W.S is a wonderful veterinary hospital. Pets and their owners are treated with courtesy and compassion. The veterinarians and the staff continue to offer the latest in conventional, holistic, and Chinese medicine, including therapies. The veterinarians and the staff have gone out of their way to help me and my pet.
I have 6 Cats (All Rescues) and PAWS has done a wonderful job of treating them. This group of Doctors are very Proactive Vs. Reactive when treating our animals. Buddy (3 yrs): Is alive today because of the Drs. at PAWs Diagnosing Sterile Cystitis and creating a treatment plan. He was on the point of death (Urinary blockage) when I brought him in because the previous vet prescribed Prozac and told me his problem was between his ears! I paid more to hear it was “between his ears” then the lifesaving treatment at PAWS. Mac (3yrs): He also came down with a case of Sterile Cystitis and the Drs. Treated the issue with a series of drugs and acupuncture. After the acupuncture treatment we have had no more Health issues with Mac. MUMU (13yrs): Diabetic and has skin allegories, previous vet told me that the cat was chronically ill and the skin condition was just part of the diabetes (Type 1). When we switched Vets I took MUMU in and PAWS prescribed a very simple product that you rub on the cats coat once a month and that has helped my cat tremendously. MUMU was also has been boarded at PAWS (She needs insulin twice a day) when we went out of town over the Thanksgiving Holiday. my wife and I were very happy with the way they treated our cat and the cost was reasonable. Cleo (11yrs), Harley (6yrs) and Tegen (6 yrs) are testament to the wonderful dental service Dr. Aronson provides. The actual cost was less than the estimate and the cats teeth are in great condition. We love the "Tech Visits". Where if the cat/dog needs a scheduled shot or recheck you only pay for the cost of the shot!. Previous Vet was the only one to administer shots and you paid for the shot and the extra cost of the Vet. We are talkin fmajor cost savings. We have referred at least 4+ relatives and Friends (w/Dogs and Cats) to use PAWS and each one is now an established PAWS customer.
Love this place and the staff is marvelous. Great calming atmosphere, didn't have to wait more than a couple minutes past my appt time, Dr. Keaner was gentle and very professional and the BEST part was not dropping my jaw to the floor when I got the bill. I have all the confidence in the world that they'll take excellent care of my fur-babies.
PAWS is fantastic. It's an AAHA Acredited facility and every aspect of treatment is outstanding and reliable. Our retired Guide Dog for the blind, Daisy, has been given the best of care by Dr. Geren Thurston. After a 5 year guiding career Daisy had to be retired due to sight problems and unfortunately has had an eye removed and gone blind. Dr. Thurston coordinated with Daisy's opthalmologist, a canine cardiologist and anesthesiologist so Daisy would survive the operation and continue her life as a great pet. The staff at PAWS is also not to be overlooked. Making appointments, keeping records and initial exams have been performed flawlessly.
I love PAWS! I've had experience with 3 of the vets there and love them all. They took time with me and my pup and didn't seem rushed. They would follow up to make sure things were going well. I love there holistic approach. They look for alternatives before prescribing medications. I trust PAWS with my furry best friend!
