I've been taking my dogs to Twin Peaks for the past couple of years. They helped me care for my senior dog and helped her over the bridge when it was time. They helped our 3 year old pit mix get the best care for her knee surgery with a referral to a great specialist, and they helped me with preparing the insurance claim. I've never had to wait more than a day for an appointment. The receptionists, vet techs, and doctors (seen three different vets so far) have all been professional yet friendly and just excellent with managing the dogs, especially considering our two big rambunctious pits can be a challenge. And since they keep evening and weekend hours, I've never had to pay for an emergency visit - they are always there when I need them. They are active in supporting local animal rescue groups, too. Best clinic I've ever been to (and I'm 60 and had dogs all my life!)
Twin Peaks is wonderful. The staff is kind and courteous. My one dog is "special needs". He has issues with anyone treating him and coming near us/me. But they know how to handle him gently and he is great with them now. Treats and kindness go a long way. They are truly wonderful. The fees are reasonable and they are very accommodating for varied schedules and needs. They always go over fees before any services are performed. And then proceed with your approval. Great place and People. As you can see, many people are thrilled with them.
Really like Twin Peaks Vets. Nice, knowledgeable, helpful Doctors and staff. I also like that they give back to the community by supporting local activities and working with local shelters.
My husband and I brought my daughter's rat to be euthanized this evening, never even saw a doctor - not really necessary given the fact that we were there to euthanize her - not have her medically treated. We were charged $97. The explanation we were given for the high fee was that a doctor/patient relationship had to be established in order to proceed. What relationship was that exactly?? We never saw anyone but a vet tech - no doctor. We weren't allowed in the room during the process. Understandable - but that meant my tearful 13 year old daughter was stuck in a public waiting room grieving her lost pet. I was not impressed - not impressed in the least.
The first pet (dog) we took to Twin Peaks vet was a stray... we wanted to have her checked out to see if she'd be a good dog to adopt into our home. When the doctor (Dr. Neuman) came in and got down on the floor with our scared little friend, we knew we found a permanent vet for the rest of our pets. We are so grateful for everything about this center and recommend it to anyone who will listen.
