My dog is a bit aggressive around strangers, but the staff here was so fantastic and well-mannered that we had no problems. Dr. Mushkot is an amazing guy! He nor the other staff will try to persuade you to buy procedures or treatments your animal does not actually need. This is the best veterinary clinic in the SCV!

Dr. Mushkot is awesome! I wouldn't take my animals any where else. He's been taking care of all my animals for going on 8 years now and doesn't over charge for services and doesn't try and push expensive pet food or expensive unnecessary procedures. He was really great with my oldest cat who was almost 19 years old. He would even call the next day to check up on her to make sure she was doing okay, which I had never had a vet do. So when she was at the end and been through so much, we called over to Adobe and they didn't have any openings, but we asked to talk to Dr. Mushkot and he said bring her in even though they were about to close. He explained everything that he was going to do to put her to sleep and gave us tons of time with her, even after hours, because he had been working with my cat for so long and knew all her problems and knew I didn't want to take her anywhere else. Even more recently, I had to take my 2 year old cat to the emergency vet since Adobe was closed already and my cat just went in for a bladder infection, but that vet did such a horrible job and gave him the wrong meds and my cat got a respiratory infection after that visit. So I took my cat back over to Adobe when they were open and Dr. Mushkot put him on the right meds and my cat's feeling so much better now. Also, the staff are really helpful and nice. You can tell everyone who works there love animals.

I came to Adobe from my home down-the-street 18-years ago when Dr. Mushkot came on-board to help Dr. Brown and later took over the practice and has been the true "country vet" ever since. Don't let those country hours fool you...as a 1-person doctor's office he is attending to his patients during surgery or by other means--researching, etc.--during his long-lunch hours that he sandwiches between morning and afternoon appointments. He has seen me through 3-dogs with a professional, informative and compassionate spirit of dedication. Think "James Heriot" and you have a good sense what this office is about. And, he has a wonderful resource of professionals to refer you on to if need be.

Dr. Mushkot is a great! We read the reviews and needed to find a new vet for our dog after going to one near our home who was not helpful in treating our dog. He is thorough, patient and takes time to answer all questions and concerns. His staff is great and helpful as well. Price is not overpriced like other places.

We took our dog in because he had a lump, the Vet also found a growth in his mouth, this was not detected by the "walk in clinic vets" big difference in attention and care with Adobe Vet! The doctor was thorough, staff very nice, the surgery went well, no infections, no complications, no cancer! The cost of everything was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this Vet to everyone looking for great care for their pet.
