With 7 months behind me now after the death of my bernese mountain dog I am writing to tell everyone who is thinking about trusting their pet to Cardiff animal hospital to stay away. I waited to allow myself time to write this objectively and here is what I want others to know. I had the most unkind and unprofessional interaction with Dr. Norell. When your dog is dying and you call for answers and then have her say " Im busy and have other patients waiting and I did you the curtosy of getting on the phone": How dare you speak to anyone in the manner. From your first interaction with my pet you were rude denying him services I needed desperately and when he was dying you turned him away. You can't deny that or run from the truth. Shame on you for being such the sad excuse for a vet.

I've been a regular customer for 3 years but the two times my dog needed a same-day visit due to acute illnesses I was referred to emergency care or asked to wait three days. The first time this happened I waited, but the second time I switched vets. Their veterinary care is fine and the staff are nice, but their operating hours are too limited and they do not have much of a focus on customer service. All in all a big disappointment and a waste of three years of relationship building with my and my dog.
