I rescued my Henry from a dumpster when he was an estimated 5 or 6 weeks. He is almost 2 years old now and I stared noticing strange behavior. He was acting stand-offish, neglected, and extremely tired. As I was petting him in the middle of the night I felt a lump and it nearly startled the life out of me. I support my own room and board and I'm a college student so it can be imagined that my funds are rather small in emergency situations. I called his normal vet and was asking a lot of questions and the woman was rude and insensitive to my fear. I then remembered that I drive past All Cats Hospital all the time so I gave it a shot. The woman on the phone was very sincere and was able to get me an appointment that day. When I took Henry in a receptionist smiled and waved to me while I was still parking. When I got inside they had already called his previous vet and got all of his records for accuracy. As we sat waiting in the room (for all of about 3 minutes) to meet the Doctor, we were checked on and genuinely felt welcomed and loved. The doctor was great. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to speak in terms that I was able to understand. Poor Henry did end up needing surgery and it was scheduled 5 days later. In the days leading up to surgery I received phones calls to make sure he was still okay. On surgery day we went in and I was a scared mommy. Before I left the technician made me feel confident and assured me that I could call anytime and they would let me know how everything went. I got my phone call after surgery from the Doctor herself, and was walked through everything when when I returned to pick him up. Never once did Henry show fear when we were in the office and he has been great since. I did receive a check up call this morning, as his surgery was yesterday, and I could not be more pleased with the service we received. I would recommend this hospital to anybody without a doubt. Fantastic service!!
I find Dr. Yut and her staff knowledgeable and competent. I cannot say great as it seems everything is about money and not about personality. My issues with All Cats stems from a lack of warmth or a feeling of genuine care. I had to put my cat, Jett down on Monday after putting him through an awful teeth cleaning where his fang was removed. Cancer was found in his throat and I put him thru 21 days of radiation and watched my poor Jett deteriorate. Dr. Yut recommended I take him out of his misery and I had to concur. What is truly disturbing to me is 15 minutes before my Jett was to leave me I was contacted by All Cats to give my credit card....really? After spending thousands upon thousands of dollars with All Cats since 2006 to support 5 cats between my ex and me, I find asking me for payment up front was insensitive to our feelings and down out right mean. What was I going to do...not pay? Does anyone else find this practice insensitive?
Four years ago I took one of my cats in to another local Vet in Vista (whose name I shall not mention here). There he was diagnosed with kidney failure. I found All Cats Hospital in hopes of getting a second opinion on his condition...and possible treatment. All I can say is thank heavens for Dr. Yut and this great hospital which specializes in cats only. She quickly cleared up all the misinformation I was fed at the other Vets about my boy. Turned out he was healthy as could be! I have 4 other cats, one which at the time was suffering from a sarcoma in her leg as well as diabetes. Dr, Yut and her staff treated LaMieu with such care and knowledge I knew I had finally found a great facility and a Vet that not only I trusted, but my cats actually liked! The staff are very serious about their work and Dr. Yut is most likely the best Veterinarian I have ever trusted my cats to. I have found the services no more pricey than others I have taken my gang to...and believe me, I have been to a lot of Vets in Southern California with my cancer kitty LaMieu. The facility is beautiful and peaceful with no barking dogs or other small animals scaring my cats. You can go to “clinics” or wherever for your pet, but I believe that you really get what you pay for at All Cats Hospital.
My cat started to get sick just before my husband and I were going out of town for a long weekend. She ended up having a massive hairball that needed surgical removal (very rare) because it had obstructed her bowel and the bowel was starting to die. Dr Yut took her to surgery that night and saved her life. If we had put it down to her being under the weather, she probably would have died while we were away. Fortunately, I took her early in her illness to the vet's as I felt she was just not her self. Dr Yut and her team were outstanding. Every day Dr Yut called us on our trip to give us an update on our kitty's condition. I cannot tell you what great service and care we received. When I say we, I mean cat and us, the parents! We needed nurturing too! I would highly recommend "All Cats" hospital to anyone. Thanks for saving Peanuts life! My little 5 year old kitty has a new lease of life and is her old self!
