I have been a client with Blue Cross for many years now and I find them to be be a caring group of veterinarians who have been there for me and my dogs through many a difficult illness and decision making process. I especially would like to recommend Dr. Roberta Raymond as a superior surgeon and empathetic vet. I also appreciate the fact that she will work with me as a team in conjunction with my other holistic vets to get the best of both Western and Alternative treatments for my animals- this requires a willingness to set aside one's ego - often hard to find in the veterinary profession in my opinion. I am grateful to have a vet who will hear me out and work jointly with me as Dr. Raymond patiently does!

I love visiting! They all provide great care to my dog and cats. The doctors took the time to do a complete examine on my dog and answered any questions I had. Prices are very reasonable. I have only had a few visits but I wont go anywhere else.

Feeling down as I type this review as Mimi the Wondercat may have feline leukemia. We brought her here today around 5:30 pm and had a short wait until she saw the vet. This being our second visit, I've always been impressed with the vets here - she even went to get a second opinion from the other vet. (I should've gotten their names!). After having spent a good half hour or so with us, it was determined that bloodwork and urine samples were needed, claws trimmed and antibiotics prescribed. Everything came to $270 (yikes!) but I can afford it now as I'm finally gainfully employed. I'll just have to forgo some nice meals and a new pair of shoes. But then, NOTHING is too much for my furry baby. The waiting room had two kittens in a large play cage of sorts waiting to be adopted and the local Manx vet cat (for lack of a better word) strolling around checking out the patients. While waiting, you can read the latest issues of Cat Fancy, Dog Fancy and Bark. Fingers crossed that the results will turn out okay. I'll know by tomorrow morning what will be in store for us. I was told about this office from another customer I met at a dog park 7 years ago. I own a german shephard and was told they have good experience with shephards. I have been going since. Even while I moved out of the area, I still make the drive up there. They performed hip sy on my dog when he was 9 months old. They were all aware who my dog was and what we were going through. I highly recommend this office. Never experienced any bad dr's or staff.

If you have a big dog, especially of a breed with a "bad" reputation (pit bull, rottweiler, etc.) do not go here. The vets don't deal with your dog, but rather the breed's reputation. They will insult you and your choice of pet. They literally made my 14 year-old sister cry when she brought in her 8 month old Rott. I brought my dog in and the vet accidentally stuck her finger in a gash on his side. Shocking, but he didn't want her to touch him after that. Now they won't even try to touch him and act as though he's a vicious animal...ridiculous. To be fair, they are knowledgable and the front desk staff is very polite. Also, there are several vets and I have only dealt with three of them.
