We have brought out cats and dogs to Canyon since we moved to Hayward over 20 years ago. Dr Barrett and his staff have always been pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. There have many opportunities where the Dr could have performed services which may or may not have been necessary but would have been costly and painful so he chose to be cautious and wait to see it the conditions improved under observation or not. We avoided several costly surgeries in this manner and the animals were treated with less invasive and costly methods. Dr B is honest and caring. He truly loves his job. Donna and Mary are wonderful too. I trust Dr B and his staff.

He was great in diagnosing a thyroid problem with my dog and very informative in providing information. I also loved that he did not order unnecessary test for UTI and diagnosed by old methods, which are just as good for UTI. My dog hates vets and he seemed almost ok with Dr. B which says a lot about him.
