1) Very Expensive, especially the medications. 2) ??? They gave our small dog antibiotics that would be too big for me to swallow. We then had to cut up the pills so they could be swallowed. FACT: there are smaller options available. 3) Uncaring. The ladies at the computers always seem distracted and not very helpful. 4) Low quality of care. Our dog was attacked by another dog and required stitches. I think it was 2 weeks later we went back to have them removed. Everything seemed fine but the wound wouldn't completely heal. We took this precious little pup to another vet and he removed the problem "2 MORE STITCHES". This caused us to have an additional cost. Low quality....... 5) Good hours. They have extended hours.
Alpine Vet Hospital booked me an appointment for the next morning after I called on a Sunday, even though I had never been there before. My cat had impacted stool, which didn't qualify for the usual emergency clinics but needed immediate attention. Here's what happened: 1. Dr. Virk knew exactly what the issue was and what needed to be done (three other vet clinics over eight years still couldn't figure it out). 2. He never pushed any products or shots or food. In fact, it's the first vet clinic I've been in where I didn't see any products on display. They are there to get the job done. 3. He is the first vet who ever mentioned probiotics to me. My cat has a colon problem, and I had to learn how to deal with it from the web, as the other doctors just couldn't diagnose it. Probiotics is the longterm holistic approach. 4. He saw that a week earlier my regular vet had given my cat an expensive antibiotic shot that was counter-productive to her problem. He made it clear he wasn't going to repeat that mistake. 5. The overall team was professional. When I walk into a vet hospital, I want professionals who get the job done. Alpine has great techs who also double at the front desk. I like that. 6. The bill? Oh, just about a thousand dollars LESS than what I've been previously charged for the same work. Dr. Virk and the Alpine Vet team is my new jam. Plus, I have one happy kitty.
Very nice very, great at describing in detail how our dog got ear infection, where the infection is in the canal and how to best care for dog.
Thank you- words cannot fuly express my gratitude and appreciation for all the love and caring shown to my little girl, “Fauna”. She was very special – I will miss her greatly.
Fantastic Service, Care, Knowledge. Super explanation of variables- options- suggested treatments. Very accommodating, answering all of my questions. Certainly a "comforting" experience. Thank you for everything.
