I can't say enough about Dr. Soifer, he has compassion for all his patients and will go out of his way to help without taking advantage of pet owners that want to do whatever they can for their family member (s) and charging high fees for health services. It meant the world to me that he had given a gift to the San Diego Humane Society in memory of my little boy Corky after he lost his battle to kidney failure.

Dr. Soifer is a man who truly loves his work and it shows. He discovered our GSD mix's kidney failure when she was only 2 (probably a birth defect), got her proper treatment. In her last year, he helped her get into a clinical trial that gained her an extra year of life. Keep in mind that he didn't make any money from getting her on that trial. Sitting on our shelf right now is a cast of our dog's paw print that he made and gave to us after she passed on. He's not just a great vet, he's a great person. And our current dog loves him too!
