We have been coming to the Drake center for about three years now with our golden, Duke, and absolutely can not say enough about how friendly the staff are! They are so attentive to our pup's needs, always take the time to listen to us as owners, and always do what is necessary to help. Additionally, they are great for over the phone advice and we've called them even while out of town for assistance. So, so pleased! Highly recommend using their services!

We recently moved to La Costa and had to find a new Veterinarian for our dog, Emma. I am so happy we found the Drake Center! The staff is so friendly and the doctors genuinely care about the pets. Our dog, who is a rescue dog with a little bit of separation anxiety when we go out of town, ran away when the cleaning lady opened the door while we were on vacation in Mexico. Fortunately, our neighbor found Emma and took her to the animal shelter where she would be safe. In order to get her out of the shelter, our dog sitter had to have the updated medical records. The Drake Center was promptly faxed the records to the shelter and followed up with a phone call to make sure the shelter received the records so Emma could go home. We are so grateful for such animal lovers! I would definitely recommend the Drake Center.

I have taken my pets to The Drake Center since it began. On two occasions in those many years, I went elsewhere due to a move, and my pets suffered from inadequate care. Thus I would return to The Drake Center, even though it meant driving farther from my home location. Dr. Drake and her staff are the most caring, professional and competent Vets and assistants in San Diego. They cared for my two dogs for 14 years as needed and have treated my two cats for the past 16 years and ongoing. Their facility is 5 star quality with the latest in equipment . My one cat could not be handled by any other vet, except at the Drake Center. She is Jekell and Hide when it comes to going to the vets; but they can manage her. When our pets are hurting it can be quite a stressful time for everyone. I believe The Drake Center is the best vet clinic in San Diego. When I have an emergency they are the only place I feel safe taking my dog to. Dr. Drake is extremely talented & compassionate and I would highly reccomend them to anyone in need of top level veterinary care.
