I had the worst thing ever happen last night. My older dog was suffering suddenly and I didn't know what to do. I call Lakeside at 9:30 at night and left a message. Dr. Kaplow called me back within 5 minutes and decided to have me meet him at the office with my dog. He got there, got a stretcher and helped us inside. Even though he could not save him, he helped me with my decision and grief and we ended Griffen's life with less suffering and more dignity than I could hope for. I will never ever go to another vet as long as I have pets. We were treated with kindness and compassion and so was my beautiful dog. Thank you Dr. Kaplow.

1/5/2012 - Dr. Kaplow is top notch. I had a guinea pig issue over Thanksgiving weekend and he fit us in and took care of us. He knew a lot about guinea pigs and did a through exam and took time to answer all of my questions. He is our vet of choice for all animals going forward. We highly recommend Lakeside Pet Hospital and the front staff is helpful and great as well!

We've lived in the Folsom area for over 35 years and always had a couple of dogs in the family. Had experiences with many vets. Dr. Kaplow is best vet we have ever had. In addition to being very knowledgable, he truly cares about his patients. He's thorough in his exams and in explaining both the problems our dogs have and treatments. Highly recommended.
