They were very compassionate when I had to put my dog Bear to sleep. They genuinely care about the animals that they treat there, and it shows in the way they interact with the pets. A few days after I put my dog to sleep, I received a beautiful card with his paw print on it. I definitely recommend them.
Have been going there for years. They have really gown down hill. All they care about is making money. When I went they didn't even have the food or medication available that my dog needed and wanted to charge me for another visit for a recheck when my dog had been in there in less than a week. Why pay for that when they don't even have the stuff available to treat it. This new RECHECK in 3-7 days is a way to earn $60 a visit instead of $40. Had to end up taking my dog elsewhere to get the medication she needed, seeing they are out of stock half the time.
Dont bring your pets here. I brought my dog in to have an emergency C-section after she had 1 live puppy at home. They called after a few hours saying I had 4 live puppies. Then, they called back and said they mis-counted and I actually had 5. I was totally confused til I got there and saw they had miscounted because the puppies were just sitting all piled up in a dirty 5 gallon bucket. I took them home and 1 died on the way home. Over the next 2 days all of the puppies born at Cedar vet died. The only surviving puppy was the one born at home. Every vet I have talked to since then said they gave my female too much anesthesia and poisoned the puppies. I called them to discuss it and they will not talk to me. So I ended up spending 3000 total for them to kill my puppies. Horrible experience, dirty office and a huge bill for nothing. Avoid this place!!!!
While the visit was sad because we put down our almost 15 year old German shepherd, the staff was welcoming, kind, and very knowledgeable. This will be our new vet for our two 1 year old pups. Thank you for everything.
I had actually been to this place a few times years ago with my mom and our family cat and remembered it being pretty good. I had to take my cat in for a possible UTI. I was really glad that they have such good hours. The nurse and doctor were both very knowledgeable and nice. The nurse was also very helpful. At one point my cat decided to relieve himself in his carrier after he was taken back for a urine sample and the nurse cleaned it and put his blanket in a plastic for me. It seemed a little on the pricey side, but all vets are expensive and I did get the exam for free because it was my first visit (saved $40.00). I would go back again.
