I really like this facility. I am a travel nurse and it is hard to find good Vet services in the different cities where I am assigned to work. The staff are friendly and enjoy the animals in their care. I find them reasonable for the excellent care given. Overnight care is good also, they have never turned me down for overnight even at the last minute.

The vet services here are pricey. That's the main reason we don't come here for that usually. On the occasios we have taken pets in for med/vet services, the staff was prefessional and we felt we got all questions answered. They don't push services on you, but we have opted out of some recommended services just because of the price. Compared to kennels we've used before, the boarding costs more, but we feel like we are definitely getting our money's worth in the case of boarding. We use the VIP services so we can watch the doggies on our cell phones when we are away. There have been a vew bumps along the road, like not following instructions given regarding blankies for dogs dropped off and requiring a 30 minute interview with a tech regarding meds, food, etc. even though we put the same dogs there with the same instructions four months in a row. However, I have to say that once I brought issues like this up, they were addressed to our satisfaction. This time areound I dropped the dogs off with a printed list of meds and times given and it was a snap. I like the responsiveness to our needs. We have been satisfied with the vet services provided by Dr Johnson and the boarding overall. We get the dogs groomed on the last day of their stay. That seems to be hit n miss, but this last time was spot on! We recommend Pet Medical Center and Spa if you aren't on a budget.

Doggie day care is ok compared to the cost of others in the area and they do let my little guy out to play for 4 hours/day. The prices for veterinary services are ridiculous. $57 for a doggie exam?! I'm used to paying no more than $30-$40.

I really don't know what the other person is talking about (with the low rating). My wife and I think the prices are pretty reasonable. We adopted our black lab through Animal Compassion Team and have been taking Brody to Pet Medical ever since. The staff are very friendly and the doctors truly take their time to examine our dog and also provide a thorough report, if one is necessary.

Avoid this business if at all possible! Their support staff was friendly but they are outrageously priced. They have a beautiful office but you will pay for the cookies in the lobby and the flat screen you watch while you wait with every charge. They should take a lesson from All Creatures who provide a comfortable but efficient facility and whose charges are reasonable and make it affordable to care for your pet properly. I do not recommend Pet Medical Center under any circumstance.
