Amazing to say the least. I went to them the morning after a night filed with vomiting and diarrhea with my pug Lenny. The immediately notified me it was parvo and my options I had. Dr Sohi gave me an extensive plan with genuine hope that my baby would pull through the sickness. They didn't hide the truth and let me know the good and the bad. Phaedra is the sweetest nurse your companion will ever come in contact with and she is a person that puts others before herself. I was told I would be giving him IV fluids (injecting him myself with a needle) 3 times a day. It was tough but phaedra was their to continuously offer help. I love the staff at the Woodward vet clinic. They have become a second family to Lenny and I.

Dr. Cox is fine if you are just going for vaccines or run of the mill health issues. However, my cat had these really weird spasms. I got captured a couple of them on video, as he didn't have them all of the time. I went at a time where there were no other patients. Talked to the tech and she told me the vet probably wouldn't look at the video and I'd have to bring my cat in. She went back to ask anyway and confirmed that this would be the case. I would think that someone who honestly cared about animals would at least check it out to see if it looked familiar. This rubbed me the wrong way and I won't be going back to this vet again. Just seems like he is only out to make a buck. After some research, I figured out what was causing the spasms: it was an anti-diarrhea medication called metronidazole. It a rare side effect, but once I stopped giving it to him, the spasms stopped.

I have had nothing but great treatment for my animals there. I live in the foothills and choose to come down because I am so pleased with the care. The staff does not roll over which is a good sign to me. I have both dogs and cats. I had emergency treatment for my mother's dog performed there because they were able to do the treatment for 1/2 of what the emergency hospital wanted. Also t'he Vet tech didn't grab poor Sam right on his wound, that was so careless! Anyway, the staff interacts well, they answer any questions I have and the Vet tech has a great sense of humor. All very important. And of course they are great with the animals!

Our lab mix had the worst allergies! If he wasn't in a cone within 5 minutes he would scratch till he would bleed, and his skin was flaking off in chunks every time he would move or we would pet him. We were taking him to another vet every 3 weeks without any relief or testing. We took him to Dr. Cox, and immediately got allergy testing and started seeing positive results. After our results from the allergy tests were back, we finally knew how to keep our dog healthy. Our dog has been healthy and cone free for the past 3 months without any problems thanks to Dr. Cox and his wonderful team. He spent time to go over his condition with us, and what signs to look for and how to prevent them from worsening. I couldn't be happier with our experience, and that's why I will continue to drive 30 minutes to his office to give our dog the care he needs!

DO NOT GO TO THEM. We have been going to this facility for ten years. They have been a bit pricey but close to home. I recently got a dog and started taking him there for vaccinations. During my last visit the vet told me that I should start my dog on heart worm medication. They offered to have me buy it there, at the office, but I declined because I knew I would be spending three times as much there. Being a college student, I decided to shop around. I tried ordering the medication off of 1-800-pet-meds. They needed a vet approval which I thought would be no problem since I was there in August and I knew it was recorded. WRONG! They told me I hadn't had an exam at that location with my dog ever and I had just gotten vaccinations. I sat in the room with my dog two times while the Dr. Cox told me he was performing the exam. I told them that it was ridiculous that they can't keep adequate records. The receptionist then put me on hold, put Dr. Cox on the phone, and he proceeded to interrupt me, call me stupid, then told me to take my pet elsewhere. He also said that since I didn't have the receipt to prove I had gotten an exam then I would have to pay for another one. I will have no problem taking my pet somewhere else to a vet that actually cares about my pet. I have had quite a few other issues with this vet office trying to get prescriptions refilled. They want you to come in for an exam each and every time and spend $42. I know I'm not the only one who can't afford this. They rip you off. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING MONEY.
