We tried to help the feral cats in our neighborhood, but the closest free facility for neuter/spay was in Burbank, which we decided was too far to drive stressed, trapped cats from West Covina. St. Francis' Animal Hospital treated these strays as if they were their own beloved pets. We had two 8-mo old males and the tom neutered & vaccinated and then brought in "Mama" to be spayed. Unfortunately, she was close to dropping another litter, and we sadly asked that the pregnancy be terminated. The vet called to check on her and make sure she was doing okay. Not many doctors do that! The costs were more reasonable than any we could find in the greater Los Angeles area, but the service was second to none, and at 69 years of age, I've had a lot of experience with vets. I highly recommend this spotlessly clean, well staffed, caring facilty to anyone looking for help for their beloved pets.

Great! My dog was neutered here and the experiance for him was great! He still wags his tail when he arrives. The prices is super cheap for everything! Usually you would get charged 250-300 for everything he got but I only payed 180 out the door! wow! Dropped him off in the am and then picked up by 6! oh and did i mention thiere pup packet! littereally it is hassle proof! you pay one amount and it covers everything! GREAT DEAL

I grew up taking my animals here when Dr. Schwartz still owned this place. He was an awesome vet, and someone that you had complete confidence in to take care of your beloved pet. Unfortunately, times have changed, and the new people that work here cannot be trusted - someone should investigate this place, seriously. I took my cat there to get spayed - not a big deal. Except they tried to tell me that she was pregnant, and that I had to pay 3 times the price for the terminated fetuses. But there was no way my cat was pregnant, as all my animals are fixed and she NEVER goes outside. In fact, all my cats had been spayed / neutered here. What was even more appalling, is that when I expressed disbelief that my cat could have been pregnant, they were VERY quick to offer to show me the aborted fetuses - how morbid, and definitely unnecessary. Not to mention that wouldn't prove anything, because there is no way to prove that they came from my pet. And you would think that they dispose of stuff like that anyway, and don't hang on to it to show the owner. I had been doubting that place for a while, and that was my last visit. Where can this place be reported?

Wow. Please do not take your pets here. My experience has been hell. I got my 2 year old dog spayed today and I'm sitting here typing this as she cries out in pain on my bed because the vet who performed the surgery cut her whole abdomen open and then only wrapped half of it with a bandage. Horrible. The receptionist is also extremely rude.
